QUOTE(Ajita @ Nov 3 2010, 05:47 PM) Nope no jailbreak. I don't really get your meaning of running processor background thingie? Do you mean running an application but you directly lock the phone without closing the application or running an animated background? Btw, thanks for attending to my problem man Reset the settings. If it doesnt work, upgrade the firmware to latest. *since ive read that her phone isnt jailbroken so i assume she wont be jailbreaking it* I used to had same problem butt..my phone was jailbroken. Found out that some apps that uses wifi made my phone overheat if left on in the background too long. btw what firmware is ur wife iphone on?

Just few days experience using iPhone4. Everything is fine, the only one thing is the battery, i need to charge it everyday. I tired to turn off Wi-Fi, 3G, Cellular data, auto-brightness, the battery is still finishing fast.
it was about 90% last night before I sleep, then morning til now oredi 65%. this morning, what i did are MSN (using 3G), send few SMS, answer one call (30sc) only, use few apps (not game) No FB and safari. Is this normal?

As far as I'm concern, her firmware is latest but I'll ask her to reset the setting and see whether it would solve the problem.

Is this normal? Fix your brightness settings. Auto-brightness drains battery as well. Lastly, double tap home button to bring up the multitask bar and remove all running applications before you go to bed. You can conserve battery that way as well. Also charging everyday is pretty normal at most for me I can get 1 1/2 days with about 6 hour usage time.

QUOTE(dvlzplayground @ Nov 8 2010, 08:48 PM) but sometimes, even though I reboot my phone, it doesn't solve the prob. I need to wait for the battery completely drains and recharge back. then the prob is solved.

QUOTE(digilife @ Nov 9 2010, 05:03 PM) meaning a full charge will takes 4 hours? Its very subjective thou, based on experience wall charger usually perform a faster charge comparing to USB cable charge. No need unplug is also possible yo, Apple battery is rechargeable lithium-based, it will automatically stop charging when it reaches 100%. So chill, leave it there or unplugged, either way is fine.

guys,do you think its time to replace my iphone2g battery ? 3 years already with that battery. what i notice, after battery full drain, when charge, its take about 20min only for full bar.then later make call about 10min its automatically will switch off the phone. If full cycle charge (about 4 hours),i will reboot the phone. So after make call about 10min,Sms about 15 within half hour the battery percentage about half. So do you think can i change the battery now ? So will that be just like normal battery ?

Pass few days my phone batt draining quite fast as well. Previously was okie, even I rebooted my phone still the same.
Wonder is there any Apps cause the batt drain. Nothing running on the background but still drain quite fast.
