i solve my iphone battery problem by buying a RM 150 LG phone . i feel the iphone charger is too expensive for now so when the battery gone out, i use my secondary phone and last till the next day for my iphone to charge.

Would you get the external battery for RM 150 which is the same as bringing another phone to me. Mean while those RM 300 Case Charger is so bulky and really too expensive for just buying that. There's a RM 99 CSL Phone with dual sim card some more where u can put extra prepaid sim card for standing by also.

What a great solution.

no, full cycle only happen if u charge from less than 20% to 100%, if u chrage from 60% then it will likely count as a half cycle...

just for info, it's good to charge from less than 20%, but not always neccessary to do that,

but it's BAD things if u charge not till the battery full...

so make sure u always charge ur battery till it show 100%

u can charge when it still in 30, 40 or even 70, but just make sure it reach 100% in the end of charging.  smile.gif

when charge up to 100 percent, will the battery stop automatically from charging over capacity that will deteriorate the phone battery in long run?

The problem is removing the sim need a certain pin to do so. U bring yr pin around and switch sim card to 2nd phone? Or the 2nd phone got diff number? smile.gif

The pin is certainly small and can fit into the card compartment of any wallet. I know most of my friends who use iPhone has 2nd phone. Or you can jailbreak which I heard can get 2 days from average use from a jailbreak 3gs owner.

if u use CSL phone with dual sim, u can just buy extra card if u think u want a more personal call in the evening .

the pin is easy, just get the stapler bullets and u just have to bend the thing straight or paper clip and woila , u got an iphone pin in the wallet. i don't find it difficult to do such thing and only once in a while that my day phone suck up the battery. on normal pleasant day, i still use it till the evening.

by the way, with all the hints to save battery life provided, i think i am now able to use my iphone for full day.

1) Shut off bluetooth,
2)lower the brightness to min
3) no wifi on
4)no 3G on
5) even shut off Push notification
6) buy Doctor Battery...

Wow, i save about RM 170 in the end for not buying Morphie Case with charger. If u get CSL RM 99 phone , imagine u save RM 200 ++ already.i almost bought that casing. Wait for price to lower and let their demand lower first .

Of course, other way is to buy the extra car charger but sometimes u tend to forget to charge or not mobilize while the Iphone needs battery already.

Well thanks for yr feedback. Seriously what u say makes me think through the whole day. Almost splurge on a mophie juice pack air actually, then i came across this seller. he is selling Iphone Portable Charger 1000mah - RM38. I mean with that amount of price i might just skip buying a phone since 1000mah can charge easily till 70%? But i wanna ask is it any reliable?

Attached is the link, feedbacks are much appreciated.

Ive got the 1900mah.... its quite reliable but have keep a look at it once in awhile cz at times your phone will display "this accessory is not supported" and it stops charging. Overall quite good to have it around.

Just my own thoughts on this subject matter, has anyone not gotten a car charger? I got myself a Kingston car charger and it works great to charge iPhone during emergency cases....

Sure beats plugging a battery pack or carrying an additional phone...

Still, be wary of any "china" or "unbranded" units as the circuit may fry your iPhone charger board, and that one will cost arnd RM500 for replacement....

I'd rather be planning my daily usage and charge my iPhone at night and leave it, and get 100% when i remove it in the morning...

And no, the iPhone will cut off the charging once it is full, u can see the battery icon will show a wall socket logo in it.

Hello,

My friend suggested the following to charge the Iphone.
According to him, it can fully charged the iphone up to 4 times.
Anyone try before?

I bought this at Best Denki, and it should let you charge 2 times... its rated 2500 mAh. Bought it for RM139. Requires a 7 hour charge via USB. I think your friend might have used the discontinued model which was rated 5000 mAh.
