my every day also need charge because work place no Edge signal, means i must on the 3G to surf net .... and using 3G really drain the battery damn fast compare listen music.

Hi,as i meantioned above...what i want to ask is:

Everytime after i fully-charged my iphone,then i will play some games and sometimes when i finish played the game,the battery already dropped to 20%-30%..after awhile i need to charge again,so i was worry will it bring any battery problem since i always charge it after fully charge..

And if we keep playing games on iphone no problem one right?i mean will it bring any problem to touchscreen?since i always keep pressing the screen when playing game..or battery?

I think there would not be much of an issue should you start charging again when your battery is already at the 20-30% level. Furthermore, I think you don't have a choice right?
I've read on some other forums and if i can remember correctly, apparently the efficiency of our iphone's battery after about 10,000 (or 1,000?) charges will decrease to about 80%. I think you can also read about this at apple's website regarding "battery replacement".
As for gaming, the only problem you will need to be aware of i think is overheating.

1) OS3.0.1 04.26.08BB ~ every 1 hour drop 1%
2) OS3.1.2 04.26.08BB ~ every 1 hour drop 1.5%
3) OS3.1.2 05.11.07BB ~ every 1 hour drop 2%

So, don't upgrade to OS3.1.2 05.11.07BB.. damn..

I thought that's normal? U have like 1 hours usage and only 9% is used.. Normally a full charge will get only you around 6 hours usage n around 1 day++ hours of standby with push off...

Mine was showing a big decrease in battery 2 days ago after playing pocket god. It was fully drained over the nite. From then on the battery percentage goes up and down like a rocket say for instance from 45% straight to 35%. I wanted to restore using itunes but there is a need to upgrade it to 3.1.2 version. I am currently in 3.01 JB and i dont wan to upgrade fearing that i cant JB it again and also that my baseband will be upgraded as well. I tried push off, 3g off, blutooth off, edge off, all processes off in sbsettings, brightness 40%. Did a reset as well. Now batttery still charrges and used up like a rocket....ie going up and down fast!!

When you access iTunes and it prompts you to upgrade to OS3.1.2, you can just ignore by cancelling the prompt. You can then go ahead and restore your phone, if you so wish and it will remain at your present OS.

1 day 7hrs standby, 2hrs 31 mins usage( games mostly.. youtube some 3g net surfing, else 3g off most of the times.. EDGE on fakeAPN off) and my battery is at 50%

Guys, I have a question.. I am currently using iPhone 3GS JB'ed... I found out 1 of the causes of my battery draining very fast is because of the processes running in the background.. For example, after I checked mail n closed it, I still the mail process in the SB Settings, why is it so? And the iPod process is always on although I never turned it on... This is not good.. It's been draining my battery faster these days...

Mail pops up by itself automatically most of the time so there's nothing you can do about it other than terminate the process by checking once in a while.

while for iPod, it doesn't pops up by itself. you must had ter-tap on the app.

I am running OS 3.1.2 05.11.07BB Jailbreak, i off 3G, off push notification, off fetch new data of mail, off wifi. overnight standby for around 7-8hours, it drop only 1-2%. I smses n calls with some gaming, not vr heavy thou, i3gs can last me around 2-3days max.

same with me standby 6-8 hours only take 2%

i use the same setting as infernal but roughly how many smses each day?my daily usage 1-2hours calls, music 30min-1hour, sms around 100....nvr reach 2 days lol..max 1 day
