hot? if u put direct under sun direct palce, any thing like toyogo box oso will hot la... if glass is hot, toyogo box lagi hot la... glass release heat faster than plastic in science term...

nop... who say so? it won't hot... i use termometer, it is same with room temperature... if room temperature is hot, then i dunno how ady...

as stated by eric, if u mix different kind of food for ur pokemon, it is expensive...

for me r, i buy royal canin 4kg pack 1 year ago for rm 70++, until nw oso havn't finish...

o sumtime u can giv ur pet some desert, meal worm... for protein.

A glass tank can over heat if the tank is placed in a place that is too warm or with a cover or next to a window. So just avoid those and a glass tank should be fine. But it is best to get big tanks like 4ft. The only drawback is it is super heavy to carry and clean.

Wood shavings may be easy to use, but it is the number one culprit for mites, it causes irritation to their eyes and breathing, especially pine bedding, which is almost 100% all the brands for sale in the market. The best bedding is news paper. It is safe, easy to clean but it will give hedgehogs black feet.

A wheel is a must, never small hamster wheels because a hedgie cannot bend it's spine, it will cause back problems.

Letting a hedgehog walk around an open space like room is fine. Even the garden for a short while with supervision. Never leave hedgehog alone in garden or room, coz accidents happen. A friend's hedgehog sprain his back leg coz fell after climbing up some books on to a book case. Even though it was a short fall, it caused an injury.

Our garden has bugs and parasites, if they eat them, hedgehogs can get sick coz our bugs are contaminated.

for fruit, can any main fruit, like appl n orange, definitely no durian n grape(toxic for most pet)...

mine pokemon love orange, cos b4 i feed her fruit, when i use the orange flavour facial foam, she smell the taste n come lick my hand(try to bite my finger), so i notice she like orange...

no coconut fiber la... dirty n hav unknown bacteria inside, ltr ur pokemon sick, had to go c vet ne...

No coconut fiber. It will cause mold to grow, makes the pee stinks, hard to clean. Worst is if the hedgie eats it, get constipation and die from impaction.

wood shave got mite will hide inside, i oso same like u b4, use wood cos it cheap... u go check under the quil, c got smthing like dandruff o not? if got, means u pokemon got mite ady, seriously...

if u still insist use wood shave, it actually can, but u had to take ur pokemon for regurlaly vet checkup... once in half year...
