Hahah..the wheel collapse nvm..i scare later our work not fine enough..then got steel came out then poke the hedgie stomach or eyes..then i will cry like hell..

Did y'all know where to buy a healthy hedgehog in penang island?
Also, the price must be reasonable =)

penang dunno la dude... go la garage sell.. if lucky got breeder from penang.. if not just petshop with low quality hedgehog just hav... slow2 la.. make research....

actually what the different between Albino and cinnamon hedgehog?
Is that they have different name because of color?I m found from web that Albino hedgehog have poor eyesight is that true?

Albino is white color with red eye.

Yes they both named differently because of the color.

It's truth albino hedghog will hav poorer eyesight due to the inherited defect of being albinism.

But in fact, hedgehog itself actually has kinda poor eyesight. So hav to put more attention on this.. They will jus climb climb climb like blind ppl then fall down..

besides that, albino hedgehogs are much more sensitive to light, you'll see albino hoglets always rushing to hide in their hideboxes, mine even flipped the food bowl over and hide underneath it. over time they'll be a little better and will come out and for the sunshine ( ), but generally they prefer to only come out when it's dark.

Eh, i heard my fren says albino's quills are sharper than normal hedgie. Is that truth? Never keep albino b4..so don really know..haha..

Another question,i see Albino hedgehog are less popular compare to other type of hedgehog ....Most ppl prefer cinnamon and S&P

i would say thats because colors like albino is a unique sorta color that only certain people will like, which excludes me..

cuz albino just 1 color... not colorful... not so attractive... if s&p,cinnamon,snowflake... got nice combination of color...

i thought of having a decent cage in my home, a zoozone perhaps?
but is it necessary cause i see there alot lots of people's cage for hedgie are pretty small.

i don't think so, i've had several and handle them regularly, never noticed any difference at all.

Added on October 21, 2009, 12:35 pmit's a bit subjective but a lot of people have told me that the red eyes of albinos give them the creeps, hence the unpopularity. but i do come across some who adores albino hedgehogs.

actually, its the eyes i meant.. cause albino is the only "color" that has the red eyes if i've not mistaken?
