QUOTE(orangegurl @ Aug 29 2009, 10:27 AM) Jst recieve my lappy today, took 1 day frm perak to kuching using gdex, rly fast huh~ I think the build quality of the u80v targus bag is quite good, definitely not cheap if examine carefully the stitches and padding used, it's a tough bag no doubt at all. BUT, the design of the bag i personally think not the right one for the u80v due to following reasons:- the u80v is sexy, the bag just look too 'corporate-looking' i.e. dull - the width of the notebook compartment is too tight to nicely slide in the u80v considering the glossy surface that's prone to scratches. Hence, i recommend another bag to carry this sexy babe The Belkin Ceylon Messenger bag that features a notebook compartment with plush i.e. velvet-like material that's just perfect to protect the lappy from scratches. Here's the review for the bag: http://www.notebookreview.com/default.asp?newsID=4309 http://www.digitalversus.com/article-487-3842-110.html Hope this little piece of bag info here can help owners of u80v a little bit more. ive searched all around Sunway and Subang Jaya.. whenever i stepped into the shop.. asked for "Asus G51vx " the usual answer is " Nope, dont have it " .... and my fav " This model available in our main outlet "
ive asked " Where? " " Lowyat~" haha.. really2 was hoping to get this item today.. hope to get it tomorrow la... G51Vx with Full HD hav a 1920x1080 16:9 screen rite? the 720p hav the 13xx X 7xx screen size~ if not mistaken... hmm... im scared the shop said its full HD.. then they give a 720p HD.. |

QUOTE(GodKnow @ Aug 30 2009, 09:03 AM) Let me assume you were asking about the difference in users' experience between the two models above. Both 14in and 15in screen above are using the similar resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels, hence, this fact alone may translate to the following users' experiences : 1) Compare to the 14in, the 15in K50 has a thicker taskbar, bigger icons, larger fonts. 2) Due to 1) above, some ppl feel that the 14in's color display looks 'sharper' n more 'elegant' to the eyes. 3) Due to 1) above, when playing High Definition Video, some ppl feel that the 14in display gives a better 'HD' feeling than the 15in. Note that it's about the quality of video "perceived" not the size of the video. 4) With the 14in K40 running on batteries, users may have a better luck to enjoy the complete 2hours 28min of "Transformers-Revenge of the Fallen" on the plane or train or spaceship to Mars. 5) Some ppl may think that "Size really matters" especially some girls out there in the middle of the night, who may think the extra ONE inch in K50 is more desirable/enjoyable. Of course, the 14in is longer lasting but shorter by an INCH. I hope this little piece of information above is of a little bit more helps for those who's considering both the K series model above. |
