QUOTE(Mov_freak @ Oct 31 2009, 08:07 PM) Remember to brush your teeth after ALL that candy. You don't want to end up looking like a poster child for a horror movie poster!!? haha i'm getting sick from all the candies--- Watched PARANORMAL ACTIVITY yesterday... it's surprisingly chilling! I thought it's just overrated. Highly recommended! 8/10 I watched the original ending and theater ending.. I have to say I love the original ending sooooo much more than the theatrical one.. original is much more chilling and spookier.. whereas the theatrical one is just umm..bleh.. like typical ending and a bit unreal. Just watched Outpost
![]() Nazi supersoldier Quoted from Wikipedia : QUOTE In a seedy bar in a town ravaged by war, mysterious businessman Hunt (Julian Wadham) hires mercenary and former Royal Marine D.C. (Ray Stevenson) to assemble a crack team of ex-soldiers (Richard Brake, Paul Blair, Enoch Frost, Julian Rivett, and Michael Smiley) to protect him on a dangerous journey into no-man's land. Their mission is to scope out an old military bunker in Eastern Europe. It should be easy – 48 hours at the most. Lots of cash for little risk. Or so he says... From the wiki page, there'll be Outpost 2: Black Sun or, is it out already? Once at the outpost, the men make a horrific discovery that turns their mission on its head – the scene of a bloody and gruesome series of experiments, carried out by the SS in Reality shifting and Reanimation during World War II to create invincible soldiers. (See Die Glocke) Amidst the carnage, they find a survivor (Johnny Meres). At night suddenly the clearing around the bunker is lit up, and silhouettes of people are seen amongst the light. Soon after a member of their team called Tak goes missing and he is gruesomely killed by an unseen foe. Later the same night another member of the team is killed by two Nazis. The next morning his and Tak's dead bodies are found linked together by the head, and Tak's containing a spent round in his skull. D.C. receives answers regarding the assignment from Hunt, which was that an un-named corporation wanted Hunt to find and recover a large generator-like device which was responsible for the SS's reality-shifting experiments. It is revealed that the survivor the mercenaries recovered was actually a surviving SS brigadier general, with Prior killing the officer, unaware that he has rejoined the ranks of the undead army. The mercenaries and Hunt attempt to evacuate the outpost only to be killed by the undead German army. A second corporate team arrives 72 hours later to carry out the same assignment, only to "find a breather" among the piles of naked corpses and face the illuminated soldiers surrounding the bunker, presumably leaving them to be met with a similar fate to that of the first team shortly before the credits roll. ![]() |

I can't believe this thread is back up alive again lol
I've seen Suicide Circle, it's pretty gruesome but it makes my head hurts. Most jap horror tend to make my head hurts. Thanks, de4thscythell, for that update! I love Outpost and i can't wait for the sequel to come out. Love that teaser poster they made. Awesome. I've seen the remake of "My Bloody Valentine" but what i really watch is the original Bloody Valentine. Both seems to be good enough. Mov_freak: Dead Snow is a fun movie to watch, gore packed with comedy. I still haven't finished watching Paranormal Activity yet, midway of the film, it gets really, really creepy. I can't stand it |

Yeah.. Outpost 2 movie poster does look tempting
Anyway, i watched The Horsemen last night Got Dennis Quaid and Zhang Ziyi I think the movie was so-so only la.. From Wikipedia : QUOTE Aidan Breslin (Dennis Quaid) is a bitter detective emotionally distanced from his two young sons following the untimely death of his devoted wife. While investigating a series of murders of rare violence, he discovers a terrifying link between himself and the suspects in a chain of murders that seem to be based on the Biblical prophecies concerning the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse: War, Famine, Pestilence, and Death. ![]() This post has been edited by de4thscythell: Nov 6 2009, 04:00 PM |

Damn, u miss Shutter 2003, The Exorcist and Rosemary's Baby and Ringu. All these movies marked the new elements for horror movies in the era. Simply terrific!
