QUOTE(xshiro @ Aug 12 2009, 09:38 PM) Ohh..no wonder every morning got screeching sound. But even though afternoon also got when its cooled. Not wet also. Added on August 12, 2009, 10:13 pmQUOTE(smokey @ Aug 12 2009, 09:53 PM) same here... worse is when u did not apply brake, it will create the screeching sound too...@@..happened to me once... Mine one happens many time. Mostly cold mornings and even afternoon when u cooled down your car for sometime. When braking initially got sound then later drive sometime sound gone. Weird. When i step on the brake pedal, the drum brake at the rear stop the car. Then when i pull the handbrake, it will use the front disc brake right?

Thanks guys for your opinion.........
Actually I'm pissed off with the Proton Service Center at my place.....well, I'm no longer staying at Klang Valley where Service Center could be found everywhere.....
My mileage almost reaching 40 000 km only after 15 months.....so far very satisfied with the engine performance.......few months ago, when the mileage about 30 000 ++ km, .......I felt my brake do not work well as if there is an air lock inside the hydraulic system......I had to push the brake till touching the floor to get the brake working......then I found out the rear left brake drum have signs of burnt mark......just imagine you heat up metal in fire then let it cool......that is how it look like.....when braking, it sounds like my brake shoes made of solid metal!
I straight away send it to Proton Service Center.......they opened up the drum and found out the brake shoes still ok......about 3.5 mm thick......they informed that my brake is ok.......I told them, I really had problems with my brake.....and show them the burnt mark on the drum......then they open the rear right side.......the brake shoes just as good as new........meaning, the rear right side never pump the brake shoes!

matt wee, (s) is or solid color = red / white, (m) is metallic = colors like granite grey,black..etc as usual , metallic is bit more expensive than solid color. as for spec...are the same as both are m-line if you book trough SA in ur area..usually he will arange it...but usually you will have to take ur car in ur area la.. if you book online im not so sure. service and waranty are covered in any area in malaysia. can claim from eon or proton edar. Saga BLM is a sedan, If you really mind FC, then go for Viva which had the best FC. For AT sure the FC will be high, even Honda/Toyota. It will be terrible when driving in jam, for highway, AT & MT FC are almost the same.

matt wee read post #1. seems like u wanna get the number plate of ur car from ur hometown, then deal with ur SC. With money, everything can work out. Service and warranty is nationwide, bro. as long its a proton SC or eon, juz walk in and pay them. They focus more on the payment, then where u come from.
there is no perfect car at this low price.of coz FC is not so pretty for BLM, but when time pass after the normal services, it will get better. buying a car is easier than feeding it..haha.
