QUOTE(Boomberg @ Sep 23 2013, 10:40 PM) How high do you think my probability of getting the loan is? My dad's salary is 3k and my mum is not working. Got 2.67 for my A-Level? Should be okay. You should ask your admin department actually, not me.I'm not 100% sure of the criteria for loans, I'm just telling you what I know and Google-d around too |

QUOTE(Rynncyl @ Sep 26 2013, 08:28 PM) Hi, where did you make your SSPN account?I'm facing a problem when completing PTPTN application form. Hope to get some advises. There's a statement shows that my SSPN account number is invalid at the moment. After I have double checked with the bank slip and Borang Permohonan Pembukaan Akaun SSPN, the account number on bank slip is equally with the numbers I key in to PTPTN form. What action shall I take for the next step? Thank you! Some of the senior here said, some bank where you make your SSPN might cause problem. |

QUOTE(SereneAshley @ Sep 27 2013, 02:52 PM) I've already submitted all my documents and got an email saying that my loan was approved. Usually it's ranging from 1 month ~ 2 months if you are on 2 semester system, 2 weeks ~ 6 weeks if you are on Tri-semester system. But until now I havent received an email to notify me of the money yet? I was told by my dept that i would get it this semester but till now no sign of it. I wonder whats wrong. Best solution, pester your Student Affairs. QUOTE(Rynncyl @ Sep 28 2013, 09:51 PM) I went to CIMB but they told me need a month time to receive the new card and new SSPN number in order to apply for PPTN. I suppose to submit my form by end of October so I decided to go to Maybank to open another account because my friend said we could get the number on the sport. Too bad Maybank officer said that my CIMB account has activated. They advised to call up to PTPTN to request my new number instead of barely wait for a month SIGHHH :/ Yeap.I suspected that issue from CIMB as well. |

QUOTE(king_lover23 @ Oct 1 2013, 12:37 AM) I see.. 3 reminders right? I din receive any of them yet... Consider it a 1 day vacation.i will call them tomoro and ask for more details then... cox if wanna go KL, I need to take leave and travel all the way from JB to KL? You could see if PTPTN has any offices or branches near you? If there is, you could probably go there and ask. Faster answer too. |

QUOTE(king_lover23 @ Oct 1 2013, 12:53 AM) what u mean by "administration cost" starts to accumulate and increase? You see those cases where people are reporting they are paying huge sum for their PTPTN loans?u mean if I dun get it sorted out, my loan payment to PTPTN will increase? Those are the people who never bother with their loan, never bother to check their balance when they pay and never bother to do anything till it's too late. Like a loan, if you keep delaying, there must be consequences right? Administration cost will increase if you keep deferring to pay your loan or not bothering to even contact PTPTN for repayment. Once you contacted them and followed the payment schedule as planned, you will not have such issues. |

QUOTE(persona93 @ Oct 6 2013, 07:29 PM) hey guys, good day... Check PTPTN website.i just got my offer letter to do a Diploma course in HELP uni. and i was wondering if I could apply for the PTPTN loan for a certain amount or am I not eligible to apply PTPTN loan for a Diploma course Diplomas are usually okay with the loans. QUOTE(kenyawood @ Oct 6 2013, 09:14 PM) I don't know. You can use the loan calculator from PTPTN instead of asking here? You can then roughly see how much you are saving in terms of interest and etc. |

QUOTE(kenyawood @ Oct 7 2013, 08:14 PM) To ask question which nobody can google outta the thin air.We ain't your servant, it's a simple thing. Just use the calculator. I'm not being paid by anyone to answer your question. http://www.ptptn.gov.my/web/guest/pembiayaan/calculator/loan So simple, put your total loan amount here, then put the percentage : aka 3% original and 1% for Ujrah. Then compare the interest and the numbers there la. |
