Hey i wanna ask that if i wanna loan ptptn for degree level 2, did they require spm result and diploma cert or just diploma cert? cause i my spm result is not so good so that my diploma cant take loan...and now i just depend on my degree if not i nid to retake some subject coming spm...
*
Likely to ask for both.

QUOTE(bumeq @ Apr 2 2013, 09:38 PM)
2 weeks past...and my status still 'Sedang diproses' shouls I give them a call ?
*
You could try your student affairs before giving them a call.

QUOTE(Arashi @ Apr 3 2013, 05:28 PM)
What is the maximum amount I can loan from PTPTN? If I go for cheaper diploma will that enable me to loan more to study degree? Because I was thinking maybe I should go for a really cheap diploma so I can study degree at a better place.
*
Diploma 10k onward~

Degree 40k onward~

Of course, depending on what type of degree and diploma.

Cheaper diploma could not help you in getting more for Degree, so no....

No income why can't apply?

PTPTN does not require your parents to be working, so the answer is YES.

There's something called borang pengesahan pendapatan.

If no income, declare and ask someone to be ur witness

Hi, i just want to ask is it hard to get PTPTN for Limkokwing university ? I still can apply through online? only have to enrol for sem 1 then can apply right?
p/s studying degree program soon..
*
Not really.

Enroll sem 1 1st and go apply yes.

If you parent's income > MYR 5k, expect less than full loan.

QUOTE(synzo @ Apr 11 2013, 07:55 AM)

both parent's income or individual? because if both income add up together, its exceeded more than 5k, and how to check the program is recognized or not? here's the link for the program im going to study..

http://www.limkokwing.net/malaysia/courses...ith_multimedia/
*
Both, of course.

LKW should be eligible for PTPTN la since it's a local degree program.

Not really a concern.

I need help here, I applied for PTPTN, and i got approved. after i received my 1st payment then i went to oversea to finish my studies and I DID NOT inform PTPTN. now they send to me whole contract stated that I need to pay back full loan although i juz received 7k. Is it really need to pay back full loan, and cannot be negotiate?

REFERENCE : Fasal 5 at the contract last few pages.

Fasal 5 does not relate to your situation much. Maybe my understanding is poor, but it's regarding PTPTN's right to take any procedures to ensure in any case of you passing into the void, the payment would be refunded.

Are you absolutely sure PTPTN ask you to refund the full amount of the loan?

Best option is you call PTPTN and explain to them nicely that you "forgot" to inform them that you are leaving and you would refund the 7k you received as a sign of apology for your mistake.

Besides, how long were you in overseas after the 1st semester/1st payment?

Some timeline for that particular part in life might help us to explain to you better.

I've been oversea for 1 year after the 1st payment.

thanks, i will call them and update u later

Next question is did you receive any more payment after that?

If not, I don't think it's reasonable at all for demanding full payment laugh.gif

Yeap, good luck and find out what's the real issue then.

my cousin got approved for like 7 days right away after he registered for the loan. why my application is taking them so long to process. please help.

Give them a call and see?

Usually people applied PTPTN around April~September so maybe they are delaying your approval with the another batches to simplify work?

That's just my theory, thou.

if you can't wait, you could always call them.

Answer is, likely you will get it if you fit the requirements stated by PTPTN.

hi. has anyone here withdrew their PTPTN balance before? if yes, what are the procedure? is it difficult to withdraw it?
*
Means that your PTPTN is channeled through the college and not through your accounts right?

If so, you would need to contact your university to help you sort that out.

QUOTE(lulusantos @ May 22 2013, 09:45 PM)
Hi,

can anyone please share with me the maximum amount of loan available for diploma?

I just got the offer letter but they only offer me Rm16000 for my Rm21000 course.
*
Depending on institution.

Diploma usually range from 10,000 MYR to 20,000 MYR at most.

Too bad your diploma courses is rather pricey.

Hi there.
As for student who opt to take up BPHARM in private institution
what is the basic academic requirement needed ?
And approximately how much will be approved by the PTPTN ?

Thanks in advance.
*
If from SPM, minimum of 5 credits, which I think you already have.

If for your 1st year, please maintain above 3,0 for such prestigious course.

Maximum loan would be 90k, if I am not mistaken.
