notice that my set compare to my ipod touch gen2..found my i3gs have a yellow tint ..but nvm la..no effected me much about this.. .

RM200 (booking deposit) + RM2290 (balance payment) = RM2490 !!!! So u should have 2 receipts!

awh man. i've seen some pics of the iphone with the tint, and i'm not really fond of it.

I collected my 3GS 32GB White yesterday and made this post from Machines Lot 10 but some facts were inaccurate.

I tried to book with Maxis Online Booking on the 15th but Machines Lot 10 wasn't available as a collection point (and still isn't) so I went to Lot 10 personally the next day. Machines Lot 10 said that I didn't have to pay a deposit. Booked a White 32GB.

On the 23rd, Machines Lot 10 called up and requested that I place a deposit of RM200 to ensure that I'll be allocated a unit. Went there the same day to make payment.

After reading about possible delays here, I called on the 30th and was told that shipment would be delayed. On the morning of the 31st, Machines Lot 10 called to inform me that they will not be getting any shipment that day. Quite disappointed since others were successful in getting their iPhones from Maxis Centers.

Surprisingly at 5pm, I received a call from Machines Lot 10 that stocks were in. I went there immediately to pick it up. I was the only person collecting the iPhone there. I was there for about 2 hours, restoring data, jailbreaking the iPhone and saw no one else coming in to collect iPhones. Apparently they only had 2 bookings for 32GB, one of which is mine. They didn't say anything about the 16GB.

After all that was done, I went to Epicentre & Maxis Pavilion to see if I can buy a 16GB for my wife. Expectedly neither stores had any units for walk-in customers.

So that's the story of my iPhone 3GS 32GB. A bit panic & disappointed but all turned out well in the end.

i got single receipt which stated RM2790 only. They should issued the receipt for you.

Luckily i got mine today coz they said customers who booked on first day thru online will get the 3G S on their pick-up day. Walk-in customers will only get their 3G S on 21 Aug onwards ( 2nd batch ).

got an sms from machines klcc saying that my stock came in late last night. ready for collection today!
but not in town now. called them up to tell them that i'll collect it tmrw.
32gb white. woohoo! probably you guys can call up to check as well.
yesterday cried a river when my colleague collected his from maxis garden 32gb black. and he even booked later than me! and i psycho-ed him to get one!
huh..by tmrw, put will an end to my emotional turmoil of waiting for a month for this phone.

the SC ask me pay 2290 when i collect yesterday , so i tell her according to email , amount balance payable should be 1990 , 200 deducted from deposit . so i just pay 1990 .. u guys not the same ?

Hmmm. Going to gardens tomorrow early in the morning to see if I can score my 32gb black. Wish me luck.

Pc fair is f'ing nuts btw

I just got my Iphone 16GB at Machines KLCC. Im the 1st 1 today. Waited there at 10am. Hehehe !! Told me that have to wait 3 hours to confirm my plan but around 11 something got a miss call from Machines but im watching movie to free out the waiting time. Happy !!!!!
By the way, do I have to charge the battery for 8 hours ????

I suggest you call to 123 and then ask them check the store you paid deposit, ask them whether stock arrive or not. Everyone in maxis are very busy dont think they have time to call customer one by one. Good luck!

thanks for the answers guys - i went back and got them to make a copy of the rm200 receipt for me (they took it when I was getting the phone) so now i have two receipts that totals rm2490.

the new apanama screen is just amazing!!! I dont know about any yellow tint but I dont see any oily fingerprint marks on mine. Its just amazing. Now Im deciding to whether apply my anti-glare film or not from Power Support or sell it off cheaply.

One quick question - how do I know if my free 500MB jalan already or not? Do I get an SMS confirming that? And how do I know if my iPhone is connected to WIFI or Maxis 3G network? Sorry I know I should RTFM.....

Yep, congrats to the lucky 100+ flers whos gettin the iphones in Klang valley....other - slowly you wait lor till stock normalizes after 10-15th.

i have done everything... but no result, call maxis , call machines and even email.... really gave up ady.... maxis so 'tai har sai'
