Too bad this series only appears on Nintendo platform only. If is is cross-platform, I bet the sales could go sky high!!  doh.gif

It did happened when Nintendo and Phillips went into partnership. The original idea was to develop a CD add-on for the SNES. However, when they saw the way SEGA went after using the same concept with their Mega Drive, this project was put on ice.

Nintendo had already given Phillips the permission to create new games using some of their most exclusive franchises, Zelda included.

The results of this were the three Zelda games for the Phillips CD-i console, and
the name of the games are Wand of Gamelon, Faces of Evil and Zelda's Adventure.

Nintendo would b in trouble if they try to sell their exclusive games to other platform. many ppl buy gamecube just bcoz to play their exclusive games which is rare to b seen in other platform.

For N64 console, it seems that only Nintendo exclusive games are selling. This cause other companies to stay away from this console.

I am waiting for Kid Icarus to come out a new game, if ever.

Damn right about it! GC wouldn't be there if there's no exclusive titles such as Zelda, StarFox, Mario and so on. flex.gif

The year for Legend of Zelda.

The Legend of Zelda for GBA, The Adventure of Link for GBA, Four Swords Adventures for GameCube, and The Minish Cap for GBA all came out this year.

But we all know what we are looking forward to. May 2005, with the final unvieling of the Zelda game many have waited a long time for.

Back to Zelda... So the next Zelda game will be launched next year? Or 2006? I only saw the preview clip of it. This time they used the more mature-style 3D modelling, but Link still looks cool with that sword. Anyway, Zelda is famous with its ARPG style with many interesting gameplay. Who cares for the graphic? laugh.gif

Rumour on Zelda for DS.
The Zelda team is already planning Four Swords for the Nintendo DS. This game will have a lot of connectivity and feature a lot of interaction between both screens. It will be interesting.

Eiji Anouma on story and gameplay of the new LOZ: We are focusing more on giving the game a very realistic tone, as you could see in the video we showed [at E3], and it's heavily influenced by Ocarina of Time. As development goes on, we will be adding new details that have worked in other titles, so we can come up with a very complete game.
