Hi Nash....

Sorry to inform you that Smartheart is considered one of the low quality food (No offence ya Smartheart  tongue.gif )
Smartheart has low content of nutrients and high content in salt therefore your kitten loves to drink lots of water.
If not, your cat might have the tendency to get kidney stones (especially male cats) if they do not drink lots of water.
Why not try to feed them with BlackWood (premium food from US).
I am feeding my cats with Blackwood and find that their fur does not shed a lot and they put on weight compared to RC and IAMS.
Since it is a premium food your cat will be getting all the nutrients that is is needed.
I am also buying in bulk therefore much more cheaper than the market price.
Adult - RM9.20 per kg
Kitten - RM12.50 per kg

tried Blackwood b4, but my cats not really like it (but this kitten not yet try), and last time from this thread oso owner which their cat not really like it (maybe different cat different taste, haha), i just mixed up, sometimes i feed them SC or RC just to make variety...Blackwood price not so much different with Smartheart, maybe i'll try it, see whether he likes it or not...thanks for the info...

Hi there,

Its really up to the owner if they opt for the test or not.
But sometimes, when you do the test, the results might come up negative but will show positive at a later stage.
Quite hard.
Better to consult the vet.
Test will usually cost RM60.00.

Vacination at Klinik Yuan, Pandan Indah is at RM25.00.
The cheapest in town.

Hi Mariellasays,

For your information, most cat food sold off the shelf in supermarkets are usually the lower range quality cat food.
These food are very low in nutrients and is not advisable to feed to your cats as it contain very high in salt which can cause uniral track problems in cats. Also, because the food is low in nutrients, long haired cats tend to shed more fur. These food also contains grain which is not good for the cats.

Try to do a full research and make sure that you choose the correct food for your beloved feline friend.

Hi Annetize,

Of course you cant.
Dog food are specially formulated for dogs and not for cats.
It might have nutrients for dogs and not for our cats.
Thats why people sell can food for dogs and can food for cats.
Please do not feed your cat with dog food.
