QUOTE(CutiePie69 @ Aug 1 2010, 06:58 PM) Hi Nash.... just send my kitten last week to government vet, b4 that something came out from it anus, then after research, i think it something like "buasir" or "Cat Hemroids". The vet push back the "thing", and give some injection (he said for antibiotic and to make the "thing" shrink) before stitch back a little of his anus and advice me to monitor his eating, don't give him too much food, just let him hungry for a couple of days...now my kitten already healthy and active back, also gain weight again, but still keep monitoring him for any abnormality....It could be due to a lot of reasons why your kitten is vomitting out the food and having loose stool. First of all, it could be eating in a hurry and that could cause vomitting. Loose stool could be due to a lot of reasons namely :- food not suitable to your cat, having infection in the digestive system, etc. Best would be to bring your kitten to the vet for a check upĀ The vet would be able to tell you what is wrong with your kitten. Thanks for the compliments on my Exotic Shorthair kittens. Insyaallah one day you will be able to own one like I did. I got mine at a real bargain of RM800 from a cattery after waiting for a long time. If I have a second batch of litter (hopefully soon from one of my other exotic) maybe you can contact me and we can come to an agreementĀ (^__^) This post has been edited by nash9701: Aug 17 2010, 10:21 PM |

Glad to hear that your kitten is on its way back to recovery.(^__^) But bear in mind this can happen again. So please make sure that you give your kitten good quality food that will not make his poo poo hard until causing him to have hemroids. |

Congratulations on your new pets! I am sure you will have lots of fun with them.i need to find cheaper one... adoi.. cannot go for cheaper type.. just cheaper price for same iams.. for kittens.... and for my kittens ni.. shud i go for vaccination oso? and how to prevent tick? i scared that the two might get it.. coz they r quite hairy type... and another question... how to prevent their fur to fall off? thanks! Yes, having pets is a BIG responsibility. Nothing is cheap my friend. For premium food like RC, IAMS are considered very pricey however there are other premium food that is not that too pricey compared to RC and IAMS if you buy in bulk. We are doing this in petfinder where we group each month to buy Blackwood. Price per kg is Adult = RM9.20 and kitten = RM12.50. Yes, your kittens will need vacinations to prevent them from easily being affected by dangerous diseases. Just like human being they need to be vacinated. Vacination will be for the first 3 months meaning you will need to vacinate them 3 times. Once per month. Then followed by a yearly booster. To prevent your kittens from fleas, ticks you must get a bottle of frontline or you can go to a vet to ask them to spray your kittens with frontline of course with a mininal charge. Better to do it yourself. More cheaper as one bottle of frontline costs RM38.00 or RM39.00 per bottle. Please remember to spray two days before bath or two days after bath. The spray can last for about 6 weeks. Preventing fur from shedding is all in the food. Make sure you give premium and good quality food. If still shedding then you can opt to give salmon oil or fish oil which is high in Omega 3 & 6 which is good for the fur. Brewster yeast conditioning tablets will also help but not all cats or kittens will eat the tablet so easier to give in liquid form. Good Luck! |

There are premium foods at very low prices as we buy in bulk. I have 16 cats and am feeding them with Blackwood premium food from US. Price for Blackwood Adult is RM9.20 per kg and Blackwood kitten is RM12.50 per kg. After feeding my cats with Blackwood they grew fatter, shed less fur and their poo poo is not smelly and nicely formed. You want some samples just PM me Added on August 22, 2010, 11:51 am QUOTE(shukri77 @ Aug 22 2010, 07:38 AM) Hi Shukri,There was a siamese kitten for adoption in www.petfinder.com.my recently. I can't remember her age.. She lived with my family quite sometimes already & lost counts how many generation she produced lol
- before her - her mom used to stay with my family - previously her nanny.. her mom, dad & nanny disappeared when they got old.. some says that when cats getting older & they feel like they going to "go" soon - they'll be away from the person who took care of them - just doesn't want us to be sad.. Most all of my family cats behave these way since I was a little boy.. Adoption? - I'll check with my mom 1st |

Rates for De-Worming and Vaccination per cat is RM30. very reasonable. he even recommended some good products for my cat... the Omega Oil... and throw a free brush for my cats. Thanks! |

i just adopted a kitten from a cat lover in Petfinder.com. The kitten is still milking so i need advise on what brand of cat milk i should give to the kitty and what is the range of price? it was my mistake to not asking the owner in detail, i thought the kitty already eat solid foodi have bought RC kitten for it but it refuse to eat...
Btw its a very new experience for me when I took it home. The owner is not sure of the gender yet coz its still small. The kitty is black fur, long tail and blue eyes, i named him/her Lunar. Lunar is a Russian Blue breed mix DSH. She (i assume her a girl for now) was so attached to me very quickly and followed me every where I go. I set up a cage next to my bed for Lunar but it refuse to stay in there, keep meowing until i take her out..and she end up playing till she get tired and then sleep together with me till morning. She is so adorable, like a human baby XD I felt so sad to leave her to work this morning as i have to put her in the cage and she keep screaming to get out....hope whe will be fine... can anyone please advise on how to get her relax a bit and stay in the cage while I'm out? |
