QUOTE(muscaa @ Jul 11 2009, 11:34 AM) Another maybank card center is in One u?Added on July 11, 2009, 11:46 am QUOTE(winner @ Jul 11 2009, 11:28 AM) It's almost impossible. I also informed SCB I just wanted a cc without opening a current acc. But after a few days upon receipt of the Just1 cc, they sent a cheque book to me directly and charged the stamp duty into my Just1 acc. Let me see when the card arrives if really got the accounts. I now only recall on the current and debit card facility. This post has been edited by arsenal: Jul 11 2009, 11:46 AM |

QUOTE(vampbreak @ Jul 16 2009, 08:50 AM) 70% chance your card will get stuck in swipe machine if they are made from metal because of the thickness. And FYI, VISA Black Card is made from carbon graphite/fiber. Easy way; check at the back of the cc statement. They will show the transaction fee.Question : Oversea transaction fee is standard or determine by bank of issuer ? I called Miaubank just now, and they confirmed there is "NO OVERSEA TRANSACTION FEE". |

QUOTE(winner @ Aug 13 2009, 05:59 PM) Wake up and forget about the Longines watch. hahaha...i have the plan...planning to make it into action..result known on 28th Feb 2010Once IN, no OUT! If you take out the money from the cc, you'll be charged an interest of 18%/annum immediately. People use cc as future money, but you use your own money 1st and lend it to cc FOC. QUOTE(MilesAndMore @ Aug 13 2009, 07:54 PM) Do it over Maybank CDM. I did it once with my Maybankard AMEX Gold (yes, the very ugly one). I wanted the point Thanks man..I notice that Standard Chartered still give very high interest rate for their "Privilege Savings/Checking account". I believe this account is reserved only for their Priority Banking customers ? Anyways, i'm not too sure what does Standard Chartered mean with the relaunching of their Priority Banking service. I believe it is more or less the same as HSBC Premier and Citibank Citigold, with added perks. HSBC Premier - relaunched in 2007 - Complimentary Premier Mastercard - Offering even better service such as global view - Premier membership in HSBC worldwide as long as you maintain your Premier status at home - Premier assistance in more than 9000 HSBC branches worldwide - fee-free remittance between HSBC Premier accounts (same account holder only) Citibank Citigold - relaunched in 2008 - Complimentary Platinum credit card - Offering even better service such as global view - Citigold membership in Citibank worldwide as long as you maintain your Citigold status at home - Citigold assistance in around 4000 Citibank branches worldwide - instant fee-free remittance between Citibank Citigold accounts (same account holder only) **instant remittance available in certain countries only Basically the perks offered by HSBC Premier and Citibank Citigold are the same. Believe the relaunch Standard Chartered Priority Banking service will offer more or less the same benefits as its two main rivals. However, i think Standard Chartered is at an disadvantage here as their global franchise is no where as big as HSBC and Citibank. One notable changes is the complimentary VISA Infinite credit card. Currently only Standard Chartered Hong Kong and Singapore issue complimentary VISA Infinite to its Priority Banking customers. Managed to find the picture of a Standard Chartered Singapore issued VISA Infinite. Click the link below to view. Standard Chartered Priority Banking VISA Infinite |

QUOTE(-Shinjiz- @ Aug 25 2009, 12:02 PM) Guys, I would like to know something regarding to Direct Access. How's the cash back procedure works? Is it direct deduct from the amount or carry forward to deduct in next month (like Citibank Shell cc)? They will deduct for hypermarket purchase.Just to make sure, DA doesn't count any reward points right? Thanks. |

QUOTE(MilesAndMore @ Aug 25 2009, 07:08 PM) I've got rebates at ISETAN, Guardian, KFC using my CIMB Mastercard. I've got bonus points too. Maybe it's different for Direct Access only ? If so better just use CIMB Mastercard. For Mastercard got points, for visa (hypermarket rebate) will deduct points.... |

QUOTE(MilesAndMore @ Aug 25 2009, 09:56 PM) For Direct Access range of credit cards only, i supposed ? CIMB or DA also can be used for hypermarket...CIMB Bank has year-round promotion only for their Mastercard. The promotion said has been ongoing since last year. For example : - MPH Bookstores > 10% rebate on every 1st Sunday - Guardian > 5% rebate on every 2nd Sunday - ISETAN > 10% rebate on every 4th Sunday - Cold Storage > 5% rebate on every 4th Sunday - KFC > 10% rebate on the 1st day of the month and many more ! **subject to a maximum rebate of RM50 per day per card per outlet with CIMB Mastercard only. What card is that ? By the way, is CIMB Bank no longer accept new application for VISA (except VISA Infinite) and JCB ? Currently only Mastercard and VISA Infinite are listed in their revamped website. Attached File(s)
