@Aeon_Clock,
It's because Ur holding co-branded cards hence it's possible but otherwise Visa & MC has a policy in which U cannot hold 2 Visas from the bank; as in U cannot have Classic + Gold Visa.  Ur Gold Visa will override the Classic and that will subsequently be cancelled.  This applies to MC too but apparently it doesn't apply to Amex cause Amex Platinum CC holders have applied and received the Amex Gold CC biggrin.gif
*
Hmm... so we can hold a AMEX Platinum Credit Card AND AMEX Gold Credit Card

I love their FREE Entry to Plaza Premium Lounge
The GSC offers movie discounts... maybe can just use the FREE RM100 Bonus Value(BV)

*I read their terms that their Platinum Free-For-Life need to swipe 36 times in one year sad.gif

The Platinum card need to swap 3 times per month and 36 times in one year.
1st swap petrol, 2nd swap pay bill, 3rd swap etc.
You can do this in every month  tongue.gif
*
That's the problem... I don't like to swipe to "earn" my FREE annual fee.
I guess I will cancel the card after utilising the RM100 BV (if it's the GSC card)

I'm collecting Free-For-Life CC (with no strings attached) : DA Platinum / Maybank Petronas / Amex Gold CC / SonyCard
I guess this EON card doesn't hit my mark.

Simplified equation

Total Annual Income (X)
----------------------------- = Exposure Ratio
Total Credit Limit (Y)

Exposure Ratio < 0.3 means Over-exposed (Bad)

Example

You earn RM150,000 a year and your total credit limit = RM100,000
150000/100000 = 1.5 (Well under exposed)

You earn RM36,000 a year and your total credit limit = RM150,000
36000/150000 = 0.24 (Over exposed)

I still dont understand the concept of credit card. about the payment. Does it mean if i pay my monthly bills on time i wont be charge of any interest?
*
If you pay monthly minimum amount : you don't need to pay Late Payment Charge but you pay interest on remaining balance
If you pay full amount each month : No interest and no Late payment charge

CIMB announse a new CIMB Touch 'n Go Visa credit card.
It is free for life without any condition.
For more info click here
Is this card have Visa payWave?
*
it's based on the lousy Zing card just like MBB
Reload fees are very high :-
RM100 reload - RM1.50 fee
RM200 reload - RM2.00 fee
RM300 reload - RM3.00 fee

I reload at ATM for only RM0.50 on any amount.

Guys, I would like to know something regarding to Direct Access. How's the cash back procedure works? Is it direct deduct from the amount or carry forward to deduct in next month (like Citibank Shell cc)?

Just to make sure, DA doesn't count any reward points right?

Thanks.
*
Petrol rebate is deducted on the statement date.
Hypermarket and MPH rebate after 10th of the next month.

Shell-Citibank sucks by carry forward and deduct after accumulating RM20....

Bonus Points Earned = 1992
Bonus Points Redeemed = 216
Nett Points Received (Bonus Points Earned - Bonus Points Redeemed) is correct based on the bill amount for the current month, which is 1772 in my case.

To me that doesn't cut my points.

@arsenal, did the Bonus Points Redeemed caused the mis-understanding ?

Yes ronnie..I am wondering..Is that means that we dont get any points for hypermarket?

I do get the points from hypermarket purchases (credited last month July) when it was billed to my credit card.
Still curious why they need to add points then deduct it back... confusing rclxub.gif shocking.gif

Happy Birthday Ronnie! smile.gif

I guess by default their system will give point for every spending. But for current promotion since they are giving 2-5% rebate, they'll have "deduct" those points or else they will make loss...
*
There's no deduction of points lah....
They increased the points earned and deduct the extra points, thus the nett is still equal to your actual spending for the month (RM1 = 1 Point)
