hmm i just received my DA statement and it seemed that the hypermarket rebate will be deducted from your points... so the 'rebate' is just like you redeeming your points...

I'm going to start working and i'm planning to get a CC. and i need some advices on these
1. most CC applications require a one month income slip, since I'll only begin to work in the mid of august and most likely the amount i'll get for august will be half of my salary, in this case, can i use that income slip for applying CC at the end of august?

2. i'll only use CC for some products which the prices are too high than i can afford (below rm3k-4k im sure), which CC has a most suitable interest for me that i might have to pay the debt for about less than a year coz i dont want to get high interest on that.

3. who set the minimum monthly payment? what does it mean of 5% of outstanding balance?

U make it sound like I'm such a hardcore shopaholic.  Anyhow, I've a roadshow going on at MV this weekend and I'm on "duty" there this weekend hence I be there tomorrow & Sunday.  I probably be there on Saturday too but depends on what time I've to leave for Melaka.

Also, I just got my folks to check my home mailbox (I haven't been home for 2 nights now) since I'm awaiting for my SCB CC to arrive.  This morning, dad tells me we got this PosLaju letter telling us they came and no one was home *iSh* - now I have to go collect it from the Post Office or wait longer for the CC to be sent to me!! ##%& WTH was my maid when the postman came?! I'm upset now 

Speaking of which, assuming I'm able to ascertain the parcel is indeed from SCB, can I get SCB to collect the card back from Pos Malaysia & resend the parcel back to me to my office ah?!

The points deducted in exchange of cash back could be MORE than you estimated. I am not sure about DA, but quite a big number of my previous HLB points were cut for this purpose.

The CC on PosLaju has been ding-dong for many years. Sometimes can allow other people to sign. Sometimes cannot. Then can. Then cannot. Then can. Latest I know is cannot. 

Last I collect at PosLaju office, they need MyKad to verify it, before allow to sign. Remember bring the PosLaju missed-delivery slip also.

The weird thing is, I received MBB Amex Charge Card from PosLaju around Mar'09, and they allow my father to sign it.    Same to DA earlier this year.

My latest Amex's Amex Gold Credit Card, PosLaju does not allow my father to sign it. Only owner with IC that match can sign it. So I suggest either personally go collect at PosLaju or redirect to office.

Is MBB TP fair only available in KL/Selangor area?
Did they ever have it in Penang or other states before?
