OS 3.0 doesn't allow forceful closing of apps? Used to be able to do it by holding home button for a while.
You can, just that it's dang freaking slow xDiPod Touch User Thread v3, Everything about iPod

Also a mention of a debit card by Public Bank. Anyone tried that method of payment? |

Hmm.. Google'd.. Verified to be working..
QUOTE Holding the home button will no longer force quit an unresponsive application. To force quit an application in 3.0 hold the sleep/wake button until the red power off slider appears. Then hold down the home button to quit the unresponsive application. wiki Btw, is there any way to permanently delete an item from my download list? Every time I delete the file, the next time I launch a batch of downloads, it reappears. I do not want the file. I have deleted it from my download list numerous times but it just keeps popping back up WTF. |

Also is there anything else you need to do apart from installing OS 3.0 to active bluetooth for 2nd gen touch? (and aside from turning it on =P) Have been trying to connect my ipod with my mac and my phone but it can't be seen and it can't find any devices either. QUOTE if u were saying cannot force the apps to come out.. then what can we do??? Can lar, was just asking how to force quit applications in order to conserve memory in 3.0 cause the button combination changed (see previous posts) Bluetooth problem is I turn it on in the settings on the touch, but it can't find any of my other bluetooth devices, and the other devices can't see it either. Should I make a trip to the Apple store or is this a known, fixable issue? |

QUOTE(Notoriez @ Aug 4 2009, 01:09 AM) I bought a set from here. It works well paired with my iPod plus handphone together. I can now listen to my songs and it'll auto-switch when there's incoming call. Sound quality is pretty decent. Wired always sounds best but for outdoor use its not bad as you won't be missing any calls. Hope this helps... |

i.e. it is able to pair with two devices at the same time?
Notoriez, you considered the Jabra BT8030? Portability wise it doesn't win any awards but you might be interested in its features. |
