Seriously, I think it may be wise to wait a few weeks (maybe 3-4 weeks) just to confirm if this overheating becomes a big problem. Don't forget that Apple have their targets and deadlines to meet which is why sometimes a product can be rushed out before all bugs have been ironed out. Sometimes flaws can be overlooked (don't forget the iPhone antenna problem) in trying to meet all kinds of deadlines. If you look at the Itouch 3G you can see it is a quite stable platform. Itouch 4G is really very new, nobody knows what can go wrong. On face value it is without doubt a very good buy and a definite improvement over the 3G but what I am suspicious about is why it is priced even cheaper than the 3G when it has even more features? Did Apple cut some corners somewhere? .....like maybe not giving heat dissipation a greater priority as in having sufficient heatsinks?



n/b: I'm surprised that some of you thought I was serious about the lack of a cigarette lighter and torchlight in the iTouch 4G.

Your ipod touch condition is ok liao! You should see some people's ipod touch, sticky sticky and covered with grime. So dirty that it takes 3 or 4 pieces of tissue to get the surface clean and reach the actual unit surface...major EWW there...

Well, I suggest everyone not to get the 4th G yet. not because it is not good, but I can't bring it out even for a jog because I'm afraid I will scratch it. XD

Been hunting for SP and casing for it and until today I still can't find any shop selling 4G accessory. Anyway, I'm very satisfied with the new itouch, pictures look way clearer on the display.

just get a sandpaper or nailfile something that can scratch the ipod touch back can edi, just remember you must make it in 1 straight line .

or search "metal brush" effect to do that... will void warranty or not i m not sure haha... because i did it 1 year ago
