well, this is very worrying.. i've been waiting this to release as opposed to buying the 3rd generation ipod touch. but if this version has overheating problem i don't want to buy it too. i wonder if i should wait some more.

Just wait another 4-5 weeks and all the horror stories about this overheating problem, if there is such an inherent problem, should be flooding the internet.

Yea u guys should get a hands on for it and u will know what i mean...all of my friends tried it and they too felt the heat...for the first time i thought it was the heAt which caused by my hand but then suprisingly it isnt,it is generated by the ipod touch...another factor is spring season here so i dont suspect about the surrounding temperature...note that the heat is only at one side of the ipod which is the camera side and a lil heat at the centre...currently there is no stock in perth apple store...i should wait for the others to review it...

Hmm... all Apple products have overheating probs, due to the "slim and sleek" design.

I'm used to it @.@ Good during winter though XD

I think better play it safe and buy the iPod Touch 3G.

Hmm new ipod touch might be arriving later this evening... hopefully xD

ya 2G also got heat issue for me...when play games but usually i wont play for long time, when it got heat means time to stop XD.

I am trying to give another viewpoint on this Touch 4G instead of following the herd and agreeing on how this is the coolest gadget in the universe or that Steve Jobs is God! Everyone seems to have forgotten the iPhone antennae problem.

I never claimed I was going to buy this Touch 4G instead I have said I couldn't afford it so please learn to not just read but also comprehend what you have read.
