hey guys just wanna check with u guys who bought the black ones. Whats the color of the background shade of the number keys?? Darker or bright grey?

can say dark grey. why??

ooo ok..maybe all malaysian sets are like that. It's because i see all other web sites and some youtube videos..their shade is bright.

well....whateva is the color won't matter anymore if ur phone has got 2 stuck pixels like mine. even worst....it's only 7 days old.

btw..have you guys tried pluggin in the headphone provided? there seems to be some bug with it.. if you plug it in while your phone is on, the buttons like volume +/- or the deny call won't work.

the only way to make it work for sure is to plug it in, power off phone, and power on with it.

sure diff country diff keypad de wat.. wat matters most is the built quality.. seems many ppl complaining on e72 wer.. i wonder shall i buy it or just wait until it's stabil yet.. ^^ any suggestion from anyone?

I wonder if the E72's ringing volume is loud enough in noisy environment? Or it is very soft as E52/E55 (complaint by their users)?

hi..
i my e72 is 2weeks old..so far i dont see any major probs..
but there are two issues i want to highlight:

1) Sometimes when i try save pic from mms,the pic didnt turn out in gallery.Need to restart my phone then only the image will appear.
2) When i open the 'tutorial'..i can only see the image but there is no sound and text..

is anyone having the same issue?

juz like wat happened to my e72 last time, need 2 send to NSC in KL, got my set lcd replacement in 3 dys..

According to some tech sites, the light is let people know you are video recording (red light comes on) or taking their picture (the white sensor light comes on during closeups or focusing). Prevents perverts from taking "secret" videos and photos. Read http://www.allaboutsymbian.com/forum/showthread.php?t=62855.

There is a method to disable it by doing something to the motherboard, if you search the net - not advisable unless you want to thrash your phone. Simplest low tech way I find is to tape a small piece of thick, black and soft acylic leather material over the light. It won't be so unsightly if you use a black leather carrying case and the patch won't be seen. Some sites have suggested turning on the silent profile but it does not work on the E72. Anyone found a better method?

Added on November 30, 2009, 3:35 pmHappened to my E71 last year when the darn phone keeps hanging 5 times and twice have to take out the battery to restart. Finally they changed the motherboard and it's ok now. But have upgraded to a E72. Guess I have not learnt my lesson and stick to a Nokia

its the LED assist light (photo mode)...its SO BRIGHT till it blinds u and u cant self potrait or take close up with ur love ones. (unless close eyes la)

It's so bright that in daylight you can't take "illegal" pictures without being discovered by the person and you end up losing an eye or limb!

no prob wt MMS yet but yes the for the #2 prob - silent and no text- have email nokia about it awaiting reply...anyone else got this prob?

do u have the pop-up constantly asking to connect with internet? still haven't able to disable it...help anyone?

Bro, did you use the email program? if you setup the email then it will automatically pop up to request to connect online for sync your email.

now with wifi on wen i try to connect it still goes to data otherwise can't go online...any advice?
