QUOTE(jacc @ Sep 11 2009, 06:09 PM) the phone is in my hands, what do you guys want to know? my friend,IMHO the optical keypad is kinda useless if not annoying, you make a lot of mistakes while using the Dpads with optical keypad activated. I heard it's being sold for RM1900. post me your questions i ll answer here guys, my service for ya all.. PS where is Hero-X? the main questions are where u bought it from and at what price?... the questions already there...can answer these simple questions first...Dpad n the rest can come later....these 2 main questions are we want to know. |

QUOTE(jacc @ Sep 12 2009, 12:30 AM) please dont ask where i got the phone from. for the price, just ask around in Sg Wang, someone quoted me Rm1900 for original. thanks for review....important question....how do u find the battery life on full use? No issues with that, if you can see from the backview of the phone, the camera part is actually elevated a little and if you put it on a hard surface, there's gap for the sound to leak out (and amplified). However when i put in on a soft surface, eg bed, couch then it seems to be a problem. But i prefer it this way because for the old E71, i had to becareful to not jab the speaker mesh part when taking out the phone from my pocket becuase it gets deformed and tarnished easily. erm, yes not so good, even when surfing using the browser, it doesnt really help. would be nice if they implemented something like "double tap" to enter (equal to Dpad enter key) or clockwise circle to enlarge and anticlockwise circle to zoomout (like N900 thing) Ok even though the Navi key doesnt seem that good, it has a good point for camera usage. Ie. to focus, all you have to do is place your finger on the opti key (no need to press) and it will trigger autofocus just like pressing T button on E71. To complete the picture, just press the Dpad enter key and picture's taken. Now if you have navi key disabled, you still can autofocus by pressing the Dpad enter key and holding it. Once it's focused, releasing the key will trigger to camera to take the shot. However if you press the dpad enter key and let go right away, it will take a shot without focusing... Camera no longer has purplish or greenish tint on its display and image taken. It's perfect! Hoorah, good job to nokia! [attachmentid=1192240] [attachmentid=1192244] [attachmentid=1192245] [attachmentid=1192248] Night shot! Total darkness outside, light source = flash from E72! Pictures are shrunken 4 times to fit in LYN (25%), cant post the original untouched jpegs....Honestly it looks better than what is posted here. also, any word when it's released in msia? |

QUOTE(User61 @ Nov 14 2009, 04:26 PM) I'm calling upon all E72 users to document all issues they've had with their phone here. I'm interested specifically in the spacebar and optical trackpad dying/stopped working and also whatever issues that you've had with the phone not responding/hanging. Thanks. i second that...really appreciate feedback |

QUOTE(nicholas_chan83 @ Nov 17 2009, 11:38 PM) I'm back with my experience with this phone. Using it for a week and occasionally when i'm on the phone via bluetooth headset, the optical navipad stops working after the call ends. The only way about it is via restarting the phone. hows batt life?Plus, sometimes it gets very laggy especially when i try to access my sms inbox This is peculiar cause i have no other applications running in the background and i have less than 50 sms in my inbox. Oh yeah, garmin xt hangs on my unit as well. I hope they come up with a new firmware soon. |
