MKV/TS/MP4 just a container (with certain rules, like MKV no HD audio codec) .. so depend on which codec (and bitrates) was used for Video and Audio...

hdwarexpert, I'm experiencing lagging on 720p rmvb files after updating to f/w 2.1
previously it played smoothly without lagging on f/w 2.0.1
do u have the same problem? or anyone experiencing this?

Short reviews on the etrayz as promised:

The first impression when i opened up the box is this etrayz is very small, just like the size of 2 x 3.5" HDD. Its body is made up of aluminum for better heat dissipation. Connect all cables, install a newly bought 1.5TB Samsung HDD and on the power, yahoo...the little etrayz starts running. Again the fan noise is noticeable but it is tolerable as i put it in my guest room.

Setup of the etrayz is a breeze, just run the setup file downloaded from xtreamer website and everything are smooth. FYI, i aint a tech savvy and IT ppl, just a norm pc user. The only problem i encountered is i cant used the upnp function of my belkin router, it gives me error message of no shared ip. to encounter this, i setup using DMZ and port forwarding as stated in their manual. Btw, the complete manual is not included in the box, u have to download from their site.

The first thing i tried is using its edownloader function, find some megaupload links and let it downloading overnite, everything seemed fine till now, touchwood...

I just plugged in my printer to its usb port and set it as network printer, so far so good.

End of report.
