I found this information useful from forum.xtreamer.net regarding wireless connection 128bit WEP.
Previously i have this problem on connecting via 128bit WEP and the solution is as below.
Extract from forum.xtreamer.net:
I am posting this to help anyone else who has a wireless router that uses a 128 Bit WEP key.
Xtreamer DOES support 128 bit WEP (- although it can be confusing for new users when the input screen only says "64 bit WEP Hex")
In order to use a 128 bit WEP router you follow the normal Wireless installation instructions ... and input your 128 bit WEP key into the 64 bit WEP Hex box
VERY IMPORTANT: You MUST input your WEP key in HEX - and NOT in ASCII.
In ascii it will be a 13 digit/letter code, but in HEX it will be a 26 digit/letter code ... with NO spaces.
You can get the HEX code from your router or by using a HEX converter like this one :
http://ei4web.yz.yamagata-u.ac.jp/~kino ... toHEX.html
EVEN MORE IMPORTANT: Please attach a USB extention cable to the Xtreamer wireless antenae and move the antenae at least one metre away from the Xtreamer.
(You may not need to add the USB extention cable ... but if you do, you will definately connect to the router. If you don't ... you may not)
Having spent all day searching the forum for help on getting my Xtreamer to connect to my 128 bit WEP key router ... I thought it would be a good idea to post this as a seperate topic. It may even be a good idea to sticky it (as it seems almost impossible to find things with the search function)
I hope this will help someone else in the future.
