QUOTE(FidelisGVR @ Aug 12 2009, 02:18 AM) @ Megalodon users still having probs, u might want to check this out, here at Cult of Razer's site u really should read that properly. from what i understand its not the problem of the megalodon, but rather problems with windows. pretty standard issues i sometimes read where ppl usually blame equipment rather than their PC.

QUOTE(igor87 @ Aug 12 2009, 12:17 AM) Damn, I thought they would be unveiling new product(s), instead of just announcing them. Would be funny if the StarCraft II products are released before the actual game. Come on Razer, release a proper keyboard this time. yup what the heck razer out this piece of cake i thnk they should release a nice kb also.improve the quality. we pay so much at least dont be so plastic.

Yes, the site did not mention anything wrong with megalodon, rather recommending customers to update windows, download latest system drivers and fixes from microsoft (for vista). Nevertheless, i thought that'll save them time googleing for answers, hence the link provided.

Expensive Mouse, Expensive Headset, now they just need an over RM500 keyboard to complete their line of "not-for-you" products.

A proper high end keyboard would be very nice indeed =). It's been long overdue anyway.
But please no G19-style LCD. Power adapter for a keyboard? Hell no. Just gimmick-free, feel good keyboard will do.

Haha... well said.. i also really wanna get their megalodon but it is really pricey.. already got their DA and Destructor. maybe need a couple of weeks to save up for megalodon then only save up for a better keyboard design from them. Razer is successful becuz they are offering the full set gaming solutions. So pandai do business.

QUOTE(moderno @ Aug 12 2009, 02:17 PM) they're really good in their branding built-up....to the extend that when some people think about PC Gaming Peripherals...they see Razer... I agree... IMO, Razer really pays attention to the small details in their products, like the p[ackaging, for example; to the extent that their customers perceive that they are really buying something that is worth their dough. After-sales service is another matter though, i can't say anything abt this since i haven't any razer stuff needing rma atm.

Themed after Blizzard Entertainment's StarCraft ® II
Carlsbad, Calif. – Aug 11th, 2009 – Razer™, a leading manufacturer of high-end precision gaming and lifestyle peripherals, has joined forces with Blizzard Entertainment, a premier developer and publisher of entertainment software, to co-develop StarCraft® II gaming peripherals powered by Razer technology. With the upcoming launch of StarCraft II, Razer and Blizzard Entertainment are collaborating on bringing gamers a quality tournament-grade mouse, keyboard and headset specifically designed to maximize the StarCraft II gameplay experience.
“It has been a little over a decade since StarCraft first rocked the video game industry and began a legacy that continues to this day,” said Robert “Razerguy” Krakoff, president, Razer USA. “We’re extremely excited to be working with Blizzard Entertainment on the StarCraft II gaming peripherals and gear. The project is in the development phase with a focus on serving up innovative features while offering precision, cutting-edge technology, accuracy, speed and comfort.”
“Razer’s high-quality gaming products have long been popular among our global community of players, and we’re pleased to now be collaborating with them directly,” said Paul Sams, chief operating officer of Blizzard Entertainment. “Through this partnership, we’re looking forward to working with Razer to develop a line of peripherals that will complement the fast-paced action of StarCraft II.”
The first Razer StarCraft II tournament level gaming peripherals are poised to revolutionize the RTS category. The new line of professional gaming peripherals are engineered and designed from the ground up with unique exclusive features to cater to the StarCraft II community. Razer will incorporate its expertise in design, ergonomics, technology, and professional gaming peripherals to give StarCraft II gamers the competitive edge.
In addition to the co-development of Razer StarCraft II gaming peripherals, Razer will design an exclusive StarCraft II messenger bag, backpack, and E-Sport Pro Gamer Case. Razer will showcase the StarCraft II messenger bag at the upcoming BlizzCon® gaming convention, to be held August 21-22 at the Anaheim Convention Center in California. Razer will also showcase its full line of gaming gaming-grade peripherals, including the Razer Lycosa™ keyboard, Razer Carcharias™ professional PC gaming headset and the Razer DeathAdder™ gaming mouse.

QUOTE(yuktsi14 @ Aug 12 2009, 12:10 AM) cheh, is just a new series of gaming gears(copycating ss WOW) Personally, I felt they a bit slowpoke. Steel Series came out with SCII stuff first. But still, they are still the first to manufacture a whole line-up of products. QUOTE(Everdying @ Aug 12 2009, 04:54 PM) In addition to the co-development of Razer StarCraft II gaming peripherals, Razer will design an exclusive StarCraft II messenger bag, backpack, and E-Sport Pro Gamer Case. I'm interested in the case.

Getting Started

|
My mousewheel on my Copperhead seems to be broken, it's a bit wonky. Any way to fix it? And I don't think I can send it in for warranty, it's a few years old now.
