Guys what is the fair price that I should sell my 1 month old Razer Lycosa Mirror? Getting old already, going to get a less shiny keyboard.

QUOTE(Everdying @ Jun 16 2009, 01:28 AM) k, heres my 'short' review of the Mamba. despite being more advanced than optical, laser can hardly work at an extremely limited lifting distance, thicker feet will only make the mice becomes less preciseit consists more of constructive criticisms » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « and teflon ring? From what I know it's the teflon feet used on Mac mice, surrounding the base of mice, didn't see Mamba is using any, perhaps there's another term to call that? hard mat that focuses on speed will not help to reduce the jitter issue, in fact mice movement tends to be shaky due to the smooth surface and direct to the issue even more. Cloth mat focuses on control, gives more friction and may serve a better solution than hard mat in this, unless the cloth surface is dusty and clogged with micro substance that most of the reviews out there claimed may interrupt the operation of Razer's super sensitive lens, a case which I can hardly notice to occur on any other manufacturer's it's a waste to use laser at 1.8k dpi, while for such working range a DA is more than enough. Razer wired mice cable is thin and sleek, can hardly affect gaming performance given a proper cable management, not as bothersome as charge up a tired mice. |

QUOTE Q: When I click rapidly on my Razer Mamba I sometimes see the cursor move or jitter a bit. to say that cloth pad offers more control than a hard speed pad, technically may sound correct, but in reality it all comes down to your preference.A: The Razer Mamba’s tracking sensor is extremely precise and when it is set at high levels of sensitivity, can sometimes detect movements caused by the slight shifting of your hand or the pressure you put into the mouse pad when you click. This effect can be amplified when using softer mousing surfaces as the precision of the sensor picks up even the slightest movement. Most users should not experience this issue but a small proportion of users who hold the mouse and click a certain way will experience this. If you experience this issue, we have a round Teflon O-ring you can add around the Mamba’s sensor to help prevent this from happening. If you would like one of these Teflon O-rings please contact Razer Support at the following link. also if you actually go thru razer configurator, it recommends using mamba on a hard mat. |

Is a must to have a mouse pad for Mamba?
And what Mamba has that other mouses don't that makes it so much more expensive than other mouses? Other than the 5600 dpi and being able to be wired or wireless. This post has been edited by Fawkes: Jun 16 2009, 07:17 PM |

I just want to imply that such mod isn't worth the compensation of precision |
