Is a must to have a mouse pad for Mamba?

Do you guys think Razer is going to come out with another new mouse soon? Since Razer Naga and Razer Orochi are just out, the next mouse should take some time?
 I'm asking this since I've been wanting to buy Mamba since months ago but too busy and H1N1 stuffs so didn't go out, had to even skip PC Fair. I read somewhere here earlier that the chepest Mamba sold is 399? Any cheaper than that? Do they still have stock? How about LYP, what's the cheapest price there? |

Just bought my Razer Mamba.
 Charging it now. Just installed the v1.05 driver, do I need to install the firmware as well? I just registered in razerzone.com/registration as well, used the serial number on my battery, do I need to use the one on the charging dock as well? Posting some pictures tomorrow once it's fully charged.  |
