thats whats ruin the game.people always play infantry and always Karkand god there is more 20 maps in 2 and also awesome cutstom maps
but no points rank nade spam is better

we once had a BF2 in our country god people could not play engoh on this map.the server stayed 3 years on that map then the server dies after BC2
I was happy biggrin.gif

I think thats why BF3 have Team Death Match mode.

I hope it's not like CoD arena type of gameplay. Maybe more to BF2's infantry mode.

Isn't that in BRINK, the recently failed FPS

BF3 also have that feature now.

It's good, IMO.

RM177...banyak mahal...I think I'll just buy the normal edition one, and try the multiplayer....never played any Battlefield games before...im a cod fanboy, but disappointed with cod because of overpriced DLC.
*
You should at least try BF2 or BC2 before buying.

I doubt most cod player will enjoy BF series because it's a quite different game to begin with.

I got try Battlefield 2...but the map is too big...got some construction site inside the map with 64 players if im not mistaken...

so im always alone all the time, i see other players all use tanks and jets...i'm running alone...so sad...

and I tried Bad Company 2 multiplayer on xbox360 (my friend's), and I stopped playing cause graphics too suck on xbox, some more without HDMI
*
Thats why i say, you should try BF2, at least, as thats what BF3 tries to be. 64 players maps are huge, to the point of about 5 times of a standard BC2 maps, where you can actually get lost. BF3 will be more streamlined, where you get less classes available.

BF games have a learning curve, on the gameplay and the maps. You need time to learn the maps and the gameplay. If you cant take that, i doubt you gonna like BF3, cause its gonna be like that again. Huge maps, with jets, tanks and ships. Thats how war is fought, but much larger maps in real life.

I hate to see people like you who are used to CoD complaining how shit is BF3 because they just cant get their heads around the game.

Lol, sorry bro..I'm starting to don't like CoD also, cause the gameplay is boring, tired of people camping...

Looking forward to try teambased first person shooter...never tried one before... biggrin.gif

Then, just get BC2 or play more BF2.

BC2 would be a nice transition from CoD to proper BF, where BC series are meant to attract CoD players to BF in the first place. The maps are smaller and the gameplay are simpler in some ways.

I have to say back in the BF2 days, having a good team leader or squad mates really made a tons of difference. I started total noob, just running around with the pkm. But then i started playing with bunch of aussies and it made a world of difference. The leader was actually leading and we were doing things you don't normally do in pug squads. Good comm and squad load outs. We were assaulting points, cutting out reinforcements, sabotaging assets, etc. The helis were picking up and dropping off players to support. Really was a great experience and instead of running towards the actions, we became the actions. Really looking forward to seeing more or the same stuff in BF3.
*
Well, i wont expect the SEA community will ever adopt this kind of play style.

Aussies are pretty nice people to begin with. If there are too many snipers on one side, and someone complained, people will switch classes to contribute to the team. Or there are actually engineers to repair tanks just to keep it running a bit longer. Or Medic actually do their job, rather than trying to snipe with a damn LMG. They generally work pretty well in a team. Thats pretty much my experience with the game, which i enjoyed playing with them a lot, compared to SEA players where there are much more selfish players.

When they say thousands of weapon combinations ~ its pretty overstating the fact that we all would go for the best loadouts/ the loadouts which results in kills/survivability.
Hence there only a couple of weapon combinations =/
*
I still people using different weapon till now in BC2. What makes you think that in BF3, everyone would use the same thing?

generalizing the SEA community like that is just plain wrong.
afterall, a SEA team beat an aussie team on the way to be the top BF2142 team in the region.
BC2 is just a speed bump on the BF series highway anyway, have to wait til BF3 comes out to see all the top clans around the region and australia starting up proper competitions again with proper support from EA this time.

u cannot compare what u see on public servers here.
the aussies like to use voip alot, and in general they are more open to competitions etc so they can always learn and improve as a team no matter who they play with.
while ppl around the region here, most of them dont want to join competitions for reasons like scared to lose etc and are happy in their own world...so yea, the selfish part is agreeable tongue.gif
*
Well, the our competitive teams are good, but most of the pubs are terrible.

Aussies, are pretty much the other way round.

Majority will, just as in MW/CoD. There will be ppl using some diff unique combos, thn if it gets results the masses will switch over. Nothing wrong, just don't like the devs over-stating the combinations. Brink is one of them.
Even worse, Brink's combinations doesn't feel any different from each other.

First of all, BF is not a CoD game. CoD is all about abusing your perks and load out to get the most amount of kills, BF, IMO, is about getting the best kit to suit the situation that you are currently in. Both are different game, and seriously, i really dislike the CoD mentality on BF.

Sure, there are quite a few kits in BC2, but till now, i still see people using different guns and kits to suit their needs.

However, Dice DO release patches that re-balances the weapons, something CoD devs never do.
*
Never used M60 and AN94.

It's a pretty crappy weapon.

MG SAW and M416 all the way. Some times, XM8, F2000 or M16.

Gustav mainly for hunting tanks, as it has the fastest projectile speed. I did accidentally killed 6 people with 1 shot of Gustav once.

I am not as abusive as you might think.

Or are you..?  tongue.gif

I see a lot more newbies using Gustav , running around with them , their SMG don't use at all..  doh.gif
*
I just dont like both weapons.

AN94 is semi auto, which i never really like using it. M416 is far better at close quarters, and most of the time, it manage to score a headshot at the end.

M60, i find MG SAW is way better, as im used to the recoil of SAW and it has 200 rounds per mag, which is great in killing multiple targets.

Physical Warfare Pack only gives those 4 weapons. All Limited Edition give a special themed expansion pack with 4 classic maps. not just 4 maps.

I'm in sydney, not Mel.

You only need Origin when you download. Then, you can turn it off.

Used it before for Shift 2, it's a pretty good software.
