No one wants exclusive unlocks for certain version and i do not want to import a UK version for the shotgun ammo, which i think i'll use a lot.

I did the same thing on the PC Shift 2 community, along with a lot of Shift 2 fans playing on PC. I think it works, because EA has said that the next Shift 2 patch will have DLC support for the fantastic Legends and Speedhunters DLC that was only available in consoles. It is on certification now.

So, if we make enough noise, we wont have to deal with this exclusive pre-order stuff when the game comes out. Gawd knows what other special warfare pack they have now.

It is a great looking game now, please dont let these exclusive crap ruining it.

Let me clear this out, EA has made it very confusing.

The Back to Karkand is an expansion, similar to what Vietnam is to BC2. So if you didnt get Limited Edition, you dont get that. However, if someone got the standard version some time in the future, they can still buy it on Origin, assuming 15USD. Even if you dont have Back to Karkand, it doesnt really matter as they are not in the core game, like how BC2 is now.

The problem now is the exclusive weapon and mods in mutliplayer that is only available in UK GAME and Gamestation. This is the one pissing people off, unless you buy from those 2 places, no way you gonna get these weapons.

No, those are in Physical Warfare Pack, where only people in UK could get this. Any limited edition will have Back to Karkand.

I assume other places have other unique offers.

I actually hoped that we will get some special camo skins for guns or some region specific dog tags. Rather than this weapons unlock.

I know the weapons don't really mean much, I think this outcry is more like an accumulated one than just for the sake of balance. EA have been doing this annoyingly to all their games in the past 1 year.

I guess this just tells them that stop taking out contents to be pre order exclusives.

Yea, i am considering to boycott BF3 because i hate developers ripping finished game contents and become DLCs whether pre-order or post release. EA have done that a lot and i hate to see this to become an industry practise like how those stupid MW2 map packs have done to the game industry.

People went up in arms, and EA removed the exclusive Gold edition of Bad Company 1 content back then, because no one likes getting the game incomplete.

It was a map or some textures as exclusive content back. Then, it become armor, weapons or generally useful things. If this goes on, the game you gonna buy, 1/4 of the game content is removed because Gamestop wants to have an exclusive content.

PC gamers are all spineless bastards. See you guys complaining a few years later because a publisher took out 1/4 of the content of a game so that Gamestop gets an "exclusive" content.

Seems like i'll just buy BF3 from UK again if i still want to get it. Pretty much lost all the hype on this game. Barely any gameplay videos, but all these pre-order bonuses are all over the net.
