BF3 cannot be added as non Steam game. SURPRISE!!!!

Having different accounts are bad enough, like GFWL, Origin Account, UPlay, Battlenet, Trackmania account, Steam and Shit. Now, everyone wants to extend it to have different DD systems where you need different client to launch the game.

FYI, i am not hating BF3 for no reason, but i do not agree with these shit i am getting. I have 8GB RAM, but Origin is definitely not as lean as Steam, as it is taking up 90MB as i am writing. Steam takes 25MB. Just imagine those with less than 3GB RAM with 5 more of this kind of DD.

Shall we all go back to Xfire? And hope Xfire can launch BF3 Beta.

Impulse is developing their Reactor and it will be released soon, which is another Steam wannabe.

I bet GFWL wont sit there doing nothing, sooner or later, they will do that too.

How much you can put up with more and more Steam like software?

You have such shallow thinking. That was exactly the same as what Activision did with MW2 where they increased standard PC game price from 50USD to 60USD. Then, there are millions and million of idiots like you:"Meh, only MW2 is 60USD" and buy the game with no complains.

Look what happen now, almost every game from Starcraft 2, Diablo 3, Battlefield 3, Skyrim, Rage and so on are 60USD now, because those idiots back then think it's alright for MW2 to be 60USD, which sent the message to the rest of the industry that PC gamers do no mind 60USD games. As these companies arent running for charity, but they need to earn money. So, they increased the price, hence, now you have to pay 60USD for BF3.

BF3 have the capabilities to pull off the same thing again, except this time with separate DD for different publisher. If BF3 is successful with Origin, you'll see more publishers pulling out from other DDs and start their own one.

Maybe i should quit gaming, as gaming is getting incredibly idiotic. The spineless sheep mentality is incredibly strong in this industry.

So, now you mind having 2 or more DDs running at the same time too?

I mind, because i hate having so many bloatwares running on my PC.

I love games, but i wont let publishers screw me over with their ridiculous schemes. If they went overboard with it, you can choose to not buy that game. Been there, done that. If DICE went too far, i just skip BF3. It's just a damn game anyway.

Origin is alright, as i used it to get my free Shift 2 DLC. It's not too slow, and even with PPS, it still login just fine. Download speed is on par as Steam. Just that it still looks a bit unpolished. I give Origin a benefit of a doubt.

Lets see how is the Beta first, before i dump my $10. It seems pretty annoying so far if you need Origin to launch the game.

I didnt play the alpha, but thats what i have read.

Dont like it at all. Feels stupid, IMO.

I am already getting more indies than AAAs this year.

Thats why i have been thinking of getting RO2 too because KF have been awesome for me. The gun play is solid, and i am looking forward to RO2.

Some AAA is just filled with shit these days.

I dont have the idea of having one game as main game.

I pretty much randomly changing between 3-4 games.

Thats even more stupid.

More or less like TF2, KF, CoD, and so on.

I wont complain on that. except, it doesnt hurt to have more options.

My main problem now is, do we really need Origins to launch the game, and thats the only way to launch the game?

Im still butthurt with Origin only.

If BF3 needs Origins and Battlelog, but it also have a great server browser. Maybe thats isnt that bad.

Lets just hope BF3 retail will not need Origins to launch.

Seems like no Alpha testers hate Origin requirement.

And i thought Battlelog would be like NFS's Autolog.

Autolog never sound so retarded on paper, but extremely useless in practise. I am hoping Battlelog is the other way round.

It sounds so weird playing a game with no in-game main menu. Or DICE ran out of budget to build a main menu, after building so many bling blings in the game.

The case mod is awesome, though.

AC130 only operate at night, with no jets in the air.

One the day, its a sitting duck with big guns waiting to be shot. Especially with jets around.
