Maybe TS should show his dad this thread... very annoying when the shop people are lanci. I heard Sunway Guitar Collection also like that.

i go there no prob, i just went there this afternoon again no prob.
looking for gibson parts, they still layan.
in the end i just bought a rm5 mini harmonica keychain

They also layan me, because I spent cash there before.....
sad but true, bentley also have this attitude sometimes.

i went there today and had no problems at all. in fact, me and my friends were like 'hey, lets just go bentley and buy lah since u also wanna get this and this from bentley, then we go there buy one go lah' in front of the guy behind the counter, then continued asking the guy questions, and he was still kind enough to answer our questions, and give suggestions.

hmmmm.. i think TS already talk to her father about this..

I've been to Bentley BB almost once a week (near my office)
I've rarely been treated with sales service there..
you could see the obvious pattern related to what you wear and how's your attitude when entering the shop.

last time go to woh fat wanna try the sx lp the guy there just ignore me.. so i just make a move not worth it.. go bently damansara.. there is this one chinese guy forgot the name nice guy i must say.. help me alot hehehe

for wohfat i dont think i gonna visit there again since they are soo sombong etc pluss no parking.. (no money no talk policy is sooooooo yesterday)

I have to agree with Everydying, Blacktrix and EchoBrain .. Even from last year I heard (but did not judge) alot of stuff about Woh Fatt . But the last 2 times I went there (once last year and once early this year), although I did not buy anything and just looked around, they were very nice. This uncle around the shop and aunty behind the counter.

This uncle, I think he must be the uncle everyone were talking about. I was quite surprised he was very nice and smiling when serving me even when I just ask price and look around, didn't even buy anything.

After I didn't wanna buy anything, just indicate I wanna ciao and said thanks, he even replied 'thank u thank u' in a very nice way.

That's my real experience so far lah.

Maybe it's just bad timing haha. Went to the shop last year and the auntie was very helpful..asked me if I wanted to try the Gibson LPs behind the glass cabinet which I declined, even though I did not walk flaunting a wad of cash.
Similar with Mahagony in SS2, he salesperson kept insisting I'd try the PRS 22 or 24, can't recall. But seriously I had no intention to buy but so far had good experiences.

You guys should come to HK, you could just pick up any guitars on the wall and have a go.

i do notice woh fatt put kramer inside the glass....but its hidden

those are korean kramers priced around rm2.2k, looking at them i guess they're at least 3-4yrs old stock.

i went woh fatt on wed, played about 70k of their gibsons... in the end only bought some bits and pieces...
bentley also same, they see me time they take the key for the room without me asking...

people just voicing their opinions, and since ts provoked this topic, and there it goes. you mean people who have negative experiences shouldn't voice out as it'll disturb their business? that'll never work - they treated one customer bad, they'll earn 1 negative feedback (sound kinda ebay'ish ).

bear in mind that, shops will hire sales person and will change over time, and i believe most have experiences with different sales person, or even the boss him/herself, hence different opinions.

Hahaha actually my guitar shop experiences all quite good.

Bentley Mutiara - Wah. These guys all layan me and my bro when we went there to look for a new acoustic guitar. We had 3 guys talking to us and I even got to try out a Taylor guitar which cost around 4k. They also let us exchange the Tak we bought for another guitar.

Guitar Store Cheras - Hmm also very nice. An old man there ask me questions and we talked a bit. The worker also dragged our guitar up and down the stairs to the guitar tech a few times then another fella come in and talk to us and discuss about that guitar's problems.

Guitar Store Damansara - First visit was okay. Second one, aside from assuming I didn't know nuts about guitars (the 'oh a kid' look), kindof okay. Don't know why but embarrassing moments always happen here.

Bentley Bukit Bintang - Erm... nothing to say. They just ignore me and my bro and we left quickly even though it took us an hour to get through the jam and we walked from Lot 10 to Bentley.

Mahogany SS2 - Aside from their insane prices, this shop has treated me well. I like the old man and the worker is nice. Let me try an Ovation even though we were just there to buy a pick. They keep their guitars in hard cases and it's very mafan to keep taking them out.

Euphony Ikano Power Centre - Well they need to get some guys who can repair guitars there but otherwise the lady there is helpful. I bought my tuner there when I really didn't know nuts about guitars (a few years back) and the guy there showed me and my mum how to use the tuners and recommended a few.
