One thing I don't understand is, why is there a 59 Hz option? It's available on a number of LCDs I've checked.

Added on May 30, 2009, 3:23 pmKeV, will a 4770 even fit in that cramped casing? I was lucky that my old X1950 Pro fit in my ATX, by moving a hard disk around. sweat.gif

Been a MSI user most of the time, wondering how reliable are the Jetways. My pc is 24/7 most of the time.

try looking for a single slot card, like the ati radeon 4770 model, this will work, since the 2007 dell's had a BTX layout, double slotted cards will not work, plus ur PSU might not be able to take the current. i had the same problem with u, but now i just bought the ati radeon 4770 for rm399. will review and all later

i almost spent money on the gts 250, just realised power supply not enough power and also its on btx layout so double slots might not work. it might work on urs since u still have an empty slot about the pci-e, however u gotta change the power supply , then ur budget reduces as well

I dont know wheter CF can run Dual-Monitor or not..
But there's no need for it.
Just get a HD 4770/any card with 2xDVI + 1VGA + 1HDMI?
I think can 1..

there is an intelligent dvi to hdmi adapter, u can use that too

btw, do note that our cramp dell pc has space limitation. note that a double heatsink design will directly clash our dell pc's huge heatsink.

heres some picture of my box to installation of the graphic card. i cant power up since no pci-e cable. so i just bought the 6 pin pci-e cable from modernopc.com (since i am in ipoh and cant find any anywhere in ipoh, thank god for modernopc)

kev, i guess your powercolor hd4770 is missing a 6 pin molex power connector. Is a standard package to have the converter included.

Even both my gpu i bought provides 2x 6 pin power molex connector in which i didn't bother using it cause my PSU has it.

Perhaps you should check with the shop you purchase whether did they miss out the 6 pin molex power connector.

actually, if u watched this video about the unboxing of the powercolor, there was no pci-e adapter given out. so i had to buy it. i think it was probably powercolor's decision to skimp on things. theres not much shops stocking the 4770 here in ipoh, so i bought it since pcdepot has it. plus the price is comparable to KL, so i really dont wanna drive down. im asking modernopc to send one up for rm22 (rm15+rm6 shipping+rm1 credit card surcharge)

it's digital. no loss of quality. if it doesnt work, it wont work at all.. in short it's 100% comparable

urs is just a 375w power supply, i think hitting a 4770 and a 4850 range graphics card should be ok. if ur running on too many hard drives, then the 4770 fits perfect. unless ur budget includes a powersupply change and all

i dont have that blue latch, its probably a latch to tuck the pci-e and pci card without falling off. maybe u can detach that blue plastic latch to fit longer cards. but i saw the 4770 being one of the most compact cards around. maybe ull consider this for now and save up for a better pc.

maybe bring a ruler along to confirm ur card purchase or bring the rig along to see which card fits best. then ull get that for it. dell desktop casings are not like any atx casing thats the prob

What kind of quality you afraid it will to-be-to-turn-out?
