Argh, feels like give a shout to this stupid TM, allows cable being stolen 3 times straight just this year, I can't believe they're still on to the old ways of cabling instead of doing it right (dig underground, deep conceal).
There're already doing it over many places, why just that single place can't do? 3 times... my client is spitting at my face almost every morning about losing CUSTOMERS and I can't do a darn thing about it, complaining to TM does not make them any faster than just got some "lazy" reply, "will follow up", "will look into this matter"... gah!!!

Just some ranting... and they should seriously face out this copper tech fast, otherwise those thieves just got the benefit in the end!!

Watch over, that is if someone can volunteer, that is industrial area, very dark and quiet at night time, even the thieves nowadays carries hand made guns, there's no way even the security guard wants to risk their lives. Not under the company premises as well.
Anyway, the last restoration does not even last 5 days. Restoration took up to three weeks, didn't even last a week to lost it again.
Police says not to harm those thieves in anyway, but hell we crash their nerves to bits before we hand over, send over to police only to see them on the street the very next day, point-less, don't you think?

you are talking on "how to solves crime issue", thats bit off topic i think the issue seems to be hard to solve if no one, especially police etc, to patrol the area. other than moving out of the area, i dont think theres much option here.

Back on the rant is TM didn't use underground conceal to lay the cable instead they still lay it pole to pole which easily prone to thieving, there's actually many parts in the city (of which thieving never/rarely happen) already implementing underground conceal.
I can only wait and see... and the pitiful users have to resort to 3G broadband service, which is slow and shared by many users...

what a coincident, my streamyx happen to have this problem since past 2 days already. called TM, andthey said need to send their staff/technician to check, but no one come.

I believe it's Streamyx issue, even on UniFi it sucks.

yes. youtube suffers from hard cap at the moment. international games latency farked up, packet loss everywhere.

this is suck. i daily streams youtube. now too slow to streams HD

the speed is consistently won't go above 50KBps, i guess TM is throttling youtube

it is obvious isnt it? youtube is getting slower, TM somehow just ignore all those problem. complain to skmm/mcmc doesnt help much.

of course, during midnight its blazing fast. but by then, do we really need to stay awake till midnight just to stream youtube?

I think the current slow net is due to the relatively high ambient temperature that we are suffering
Wireless broadband that I am using is super slow too. Them gear up them masts must be cooking hot too.
Damn even my dongle is hotter these days trying to move them data over the slow connection.
