QUOTE(kurtkob78 @ Apr 22 2009, 06:57 PM) I normally be friend to the bakery and ask them......nowadays I can preorder multigrain bread. trying to get him to do rye bread. The Assunta bread is damn good. They do send to KL on weekly basis. The bread will reach KL on Friday or so for further distribution. I know Carefoure Kepong has a Organic shop that sell them. Those breads are tasty though pricey........ |

QUOTE(myremi @ Apr 23 2009, 12:05 AM) Yes, wheat is a complex carb. I just bought a loaf of rye bread awhile ago. It cost RM6.80. The taste should be okie.....main ingredient rye, and milk....without sugar or oil......Rye is not so tasteless lah. Trust me, it has enough sugar. I once made 100% wholemeal loaf with 4 tablespoon of sugar and it wasn't enough. Rye is just a harder bread because it contains the bran. It's dark though. Haven't you tried it in breakfast buffets at hotels? It's usually a dark bread. Not easily obtainable outside of hotel bakeries though. Yes, it is a tougher bread but that's why makes it different. I prefer it for making sandwiches (hate it when white bread is not firm enough and breaks into pieces) or for eating with soup (most Westerners will prefer harder breads for soup). Added on April 23, 2009, 12:34 amYou know, looking at the Japanese Dietary Guidelines, it looks very strict lah. More strict than the Western diet. Added on April 23, 2009, 12:35 amHmm...and this weekend, am going hunting around the cheap RM2 shops to look for some bento making stuff. Strangely, they sometimes pop up there. I didnt pay attention on rye bread since it is yuckie taste....BUT nowadays I will start paying attention..... |

QUOTE(charge-n-go @ Apr 24 2009, 06:42 PM) Yerr...ugly. me oso look ugly now, 2 hands 2 legs can see muscle easily when i use strength. The main body can only see some lines.. too much fats, hahaha. if you wanna look more defined on your body, you gotta reduce the body fat....then you will start seeing the rib cage and 6 packs (if you work enough on the abs).......at the same time, keep working on certain muscle...part by part...I know man mostly put so much emphasize on upper body only......CF - i think it's okie to gain muscle on your arm. As for your weight, I would say you should trust the mirror and get confident rather than believing the scale machine.....no point get lighter but filled with fat and water......I supposed you want yourself to look firm and defined....like Jillian Michael.......... |
