ok guys..ive decided to buy asus m4a78t-e over msi g65..msi a better clocker over asus but i couldnt trust msi quality..even one side of my brain say get it but past experience with msi boards hurt my feeling badly lol..maybe now they make better board but still very hard to commit to msi

how i wish abit still in business..my board now (kn9 ultra) even after 2 years++ of thrashing its going along well..best moment is bring my x2 3600 brisby to 3ghz easily lol

what's d price diff between msi & asus bro? i think built quality of msi board is ok nowadays, bios wise seems ok to me as well coz they have update on monthly basis. i was thinkin of d same board too b4 decided to stick w ddr2. ddr3 ram is way outta reach rite now, won't go for value ram coz i know sooner or later i'll shift to performance ram once they're available.

Yup, how i wish abit is still in business too.. My old NF7S2.0 is still working in my friend rig

lightning doesn't strike twice at d same place bro, it was pure luck that i managed to buy d twinmos value.

if not becoz of d high cost involved in switchin to ddr3, i mite end up w gd65 + mushkin ddr 1333. but luck wasn't on my side coz d ram snapped up by someone, outta frustration, i get d tj-09 instead...

asus RM490 from a shop and RM500 from one of the seller here..msi is RM498..how close can it be to make it hard for me both are very similar too in layout..seems msi not so shabby like yesteryears eh..hmmm

gigabyte is too darn expensive..i love 790xt-ud4p but RM650 is too much for it

i also search high and low for ddr3..very very limited choice for my budget either value ram or buy very expensive kits..end up getting gskill trident for a not bad price..soon is time to say byebye to bling bling ballistix tracer

Next year is more towards quad core and 6 core I presume? Maybe 955 will drop price till Rm5** by late next year

Yep, tried that with 13.01.09 BIOS. Unable to boot at all.

Tried with latest BIOS, can boot, but can't POST.

current stable is 3.4ghz oni @ 1.45v
its bootable until 3.8ghz though...i think its might be the mobo

I have my 4850 installed at my SLAVE PCI-E slot, which is the more top slot of the motherboard.

In order to get full 16 bit, I should put the motherboard's crossfire bridge card to the MASTER slot which is down there.

Correct? Or should the 4850 be in the MASTER slot? I've never seen graphics card put so low before...

Put at the master slot then the bridge card at the slave. The manual book got the chart.

d case was extremely cheap, got free aeroslot some more, can't resist then apply loan from wifey loh... i don't see any new tj-09 case sellin @ < $300 here so w/o thinkin twice i quickly submit d loan application...

It only works for the batches that CAN BE UNLOCKED.

I have tried using the SLAVE slot and slotting the the full 16x bridge card at the MASTER slot but i didn't work..
In fact it wasn't able to detect my GPU when i did that IINM..

Miahaha, easy loan approval ah like that, no need to send application to the main HQ, everything done at the branch
