any ta790gx 128 update the bios? new bios out few days ago... and this is not the bios that sent XiuKeong mobo to a great long long long holidaay..

My mobo went to lalaland after flashing bios.. Confirm cannot post at all
After this u see i'll disappear also coz got no mobo for my rig

I've used dos to flash my bios.. Makes me wonder if i should've flashed using windows

Added on June 9, 2009, 10:33 pmYess i'm sure i was using the bios for TA790GX 128M, ah_khoo gave me the link to rebelhaven to dload it..
When the bios from there wasn't working properly, i reflashed to the latest bios i could found from Biostar website..
During flashing no error msg came out at the end, it said flashing was done n normally..
When i restarted my pc, my fans would turn but no other activity occurs, no ram act, no hdd act etc..

how u know no ram and hdd act ??? normaly after flashing ....the bios will reset / load optimal setting...which mean u hv to using onboard gc ...hv to setting up the bios if u wan to use PCI-E gfx.....got any bee sound or not ??

the red LED light in mobo is on or blinking ??

so wat u going to do ?? RMA or try hotflash ...... i think can use different biostar mobo with same slot bios chipset (8 pin kaki chipset)
hv to force flash the chip + few other command

I don't mind really, hope i don't have to RMA coz looking at the rate XiuKeong is waiting for his mobo i think a man can get a baby and that baby will be born by the time RMA is settled..
