Talking bout HDD tranfer ...FIrewire (OHCI) , Sata (AHCI ) , USB (EHCI 2.0) and USB (OHCI 1.1 ) All is same ground from UHCI...
OHCI , AHCI and EHCI Tranfer rate is 480mb/m ( 480/60 =40mb/s) if tranfer from hdd to diff hdd....

many ppl feel da firewire is fast in windows coz is running fully with OHCI and feel slow with Sata coz the sata is setting to IDE Native (which is using bios to conver it to IDE mode). this will effer the speed
sometime this all also nid to depend the EHCI,OHCI and AHCI hardware and Chipset is using in mobo and ext hdd... (example the hdd RPM Speed 5.4k , 7.2 k and 10 k speed) slot the HDD is master or slave also got different tranfer rate..the driver of chipset also
SDD is fast then other hdd coz is using chipset to keep data while hdd is using disk to keep the data

lappy sata ide and ahci is using different vendor and device ID sure u no hv problem...but in desktop...which AHCI and IDE is using same vendor and device ID ..

Some of Sata dvd-rom is S@#K ..cant work with AHCI.

dah bocor awal2 laagi..cuma u xtau.......malas nak layan.

Campak dlm sungai laaaa ....1mb files also cant download ..beter use dialup

apa cam kita pergi dgn komuter...x rempit tu EX5...nanti tu engin kecai

u flashing the bios using dos or bios utility in windows ?

ur did check ur mobo bios version b4 u flash...is mobo using 790gx 128 bios or other ??

how u know no ram and hdd act ??? normaly after flashing ....the bios will reset / load optimal setting...which mean u hv to using onboard gc ...hv to setting up the bios if u wan to use PCI-E gfx.....got any bee sound or not ??

the red LED light in mobo is on or blinking ??

so wat u going to do ?? RMA or try hotflash ...... i think can use different biostar mobo with same slot bios chipset (8 pin kaki chipset)
hv to force flash the chip + few other command

hv to testing more command ...wat i see from AMI flasher command ..is much eazy to hotlash the bios

IF u no might ...maybe u can come to gathering or send ur mobo to cdlim ..i will do the hotflash on the gathering...boleh show how to hotflash the bios ...so we all can learn . Lepas done kasi mobo to minum LN2

the bios chip hv to check carefully which direction to plug...in left top side got 1 small lubang and right side no hv
so b4 unplug the corupt bios hv to check the direction 1st..silap sikit bye bye

Dont worry bout this all...AMD wont die (ade ATI backup ) so every 1 must supot ATI and AMD.......sure dont said 2 core even 8 core amd edy hv...still under testing with server thing.....the most importand hv to supot with more option in Unix planform (example Solaris server)
