I after reading twice still don't under understand what loneboy62 is saying sad.gif

If you manually lock and speed lock what is the difference? In the end the car will be locked and you can manually unlock the car to get out?

Also some cars can sense the accident and automatically unlock the doors.
*
The reason is, when accident happen right, usually those speed lock 'dead', u r not able to unlock, if you lock the door manually, there is higher chance to unlock because you are lesser one more level of locking. Those speed lock and pedal lock is using relay chips to control, so that is the reason behind.

Your M3 sport with panic alarm, just like ur horn sound, it didn't come with alarm indicator, so when u lock or unlock your car will not be without sound.

guys,

i test drove the mazda3 2.0 this afternoon and found that the blue illumination ring on the instrumental panel (speedometer and tachometer) are very very faint. I can barely see the blue ring. the SA told me its because the glare from the outside light is causing this. Only when you drive during night time the blue ring becomes apparent. Anyone can verify this?

And can the audio unit play dvds? like i burn mp3 inside the dvd and put it inside the player, does it play?

Thanks!

When you switch on your light during day time, the dashboard really barely see, in fact almost i can't see anything, however, the LED come with the design in that way, so no choice unless you switch to a multi color as the original Mazda3 from Japan, that's look nice, this needed wiring moding, not recommended to do in malaysia since Mazda provide very noob accessories shop(I usually called it noob of the world accesories) - GS.

You can have audio unit play dvd, it also need to MOD the ICE, so you can again go back to accessories shop to MOD, just remember dun go their Panel (nOOB of the world) since they are really noob, u can get a better and cheaper service in outside, one shop in Serdang not bad, cheap and reliable.

How much is the latest price increase, Delvin?

Just lately coming to think of this, can the rear plate number be arranged in two tiers? I mean, like the alphabet on the top and numbers below it.

And Delvin, I think u didn't answer me yet in regards to the origin of the sport rims for 1.6 variant...

Honda has been CKDed so many years here and now even Kia and Peugeot but do you see Mazda price decreased by any of these?
NO.... So if you thinking the price will drop simply because the Berjaya Group "going" (wonder when and will it even materialised) to setup manufacturing factory for BYD, i think you will be mistaken.
Btw, it's a China brand car. Have you seen many Cherrys and Changan cars around?
You get the point...

Actually you might misunderstand what I have tried to describe over there, basically Berjaya works with BYD is to setup a new factory here just to come out with CKD car for Mazda, not like Cherrys or Changan, it is the agreement btw JV Berjaya and BYD with Mazda, so they are produced car like HOnda and Toyota here.

So Mazda car all around the world is a famous and reliable brand and well known after splited with Ford. In fact both still have certain relationship.

Read through this if you can understand chinese but i believe 80k is a bit too less for even 1.6 Mazda 3, at least should be around 90k, or else the Mazda 2 CBU Thailand also dead dead dead.

Haha...Hopefully price drop afteri sold my mazda 3 sport, give me at least 5 years!!!! hAHAHA

Well in some ways i agree with u here. CKD did bought the the price of a CBU car but for japanese mades it will reduce approx 10-15k at most. Those german marques like Merc n BMW can see the reduction of 10-20k or even more depending of which model. The new honda city will cost like the CBU jazz if the city is bought from Thailand.

I would love to see Berjaya putting mazda CKD ops in Mysia to compete with the usual vios and city. Their chinese brand, chana seems like a flop over here and i dont anticipate well on BYD. The only chinese car maker which is doing well is Chery with the Eastern start MPV. Seat once before and i'm impressed, even better than the crappy innova/avanza.
