I after reading twice still don't under understand what loneboy62 is saying
If you manually lock and speed lock what is the difference? In the end the car will be locked and you can manually unlock the car to get out?
Also some cars can sense the accident and automatically unlock the doors.
The reason is, when accident happen right, usually those speed lock 'dead', u r not able to unlock, if you lock the door manually, there is higher chance to unlock because you are lesser one more level of locking. Those speed lock and pedal lock is using relay chips to control, so that is the reason behind. If you manually lock and speed lock what is the difference? In the end the car will be locked and you can manually unlock the car to get out?

Your M3 sport with panic alarm, just like ur horn sound, it didn't come with alarm indicator, so when u lock or unlock your car will not be without sound.i lock using the alarm then open use key ... no sound oso ....
