HI ALL MAZDA LOVERS

As you all know (or don't know for some), Malaysia is the 2nd Country to launch the Next Generation Of The New MAZDA 3 Sport (2010 model). And currently it's already zoom zooming around on our Protons & Peroduas infested roads. You are lucky if you are able to catch one zooming by you and i believe in your mind you will be thinking when will you be the Zoomer behind the stylistic car.

Don't worry guys!! Provided you have ample time to spare on any days, you are free to come over to our showroom for a test drive on the New Mazda 3 Sport 1.6L & 2.0L. Get a real feel of the cars everyone is drooling about. If you are real busy and can't afford to make the trip over to our showroom. No worries as we will arrange a test drive with you at a place you are convenient with. (for this service T&C do apply and subjected to approval)

Our Showroom is located at: Bermaz Motor Trading Sdn Bhd
Lot 9 Jln 219, Selangor Darul Ehsan,
46100 Petaling Jaya, Selangor Darul Ehsan

Book your test drive now to avoid disappointment!! Alternatively you can pm me or sms 016-6456646 stating Mazda 3 Test Drive and i will be there to answer all your enquiries. Below is the specification and features of the New Mazda 3 Sport.

The new Mazda 3 Sport, now inherits the new family face of Mazda with characteristic headlamps and a large intake grill resembling a big “smile”. Combined with sharp curves on its exterior flanks which accentuates Mazda 3 Sport’s athletic stance. Its high deck and short overhangs design, sculpted sides and accentuated wheel arches further enhance its overall profile. The chassis has been improved in terms of stiffness, body shell rigidity, and the front and rear suspension braces augur well for road handling and overall car balance, decreasing noise vibration and road harshness.
The stretched headlamps are not just aesthetically pleasing but also functional. It comes fitted with Bi-Xenon discharge lamps (2.0L only) in both low-beam and high-beam modes.
This provides a much clearer vision of the road ahead and gives the driver a much greater sense of safety and security during night drives. It is also a feature not normally found in this segment.

The interior of the Mazda3 Sport is entirely different from the Mazda3. It is now more stylish and sophisticated. The dashboard now sweeps dramatically from the centre toward both sides, creating a visual effect that enhances dynamism and adds a tinge of luxury.

Optimally tuned for the new Mazda3, the MZR engine produces plenty of power and torque. The 2.0 delivers 108kw at 6,500 rpm while the 1.6 produces 77kw at 6000 rpm. Torque is 182 Nm at 4,500 rpm and 145 Nm at 4,000 rpm respectively for the 2.0 and 1.6. In line with the demands of the upper segment of the market, the power delivery of the Mazda3 is now more linear with reduced emissions, and improved noise, vibration and harshness levels.

Other class-leading features in the Mazda3 Sport 2.0 include 6 airbags (front, side, curtain), auto headlamp levelling with auto on function, dual-zone air-condition, 6CD changer, auto power windows with anti-pinch function (all windows) with remote capability, rain sensor, auto dimming mirrors, 17” alloy wheels, etc. The Mazda3 Sport 1.6 also has an impressive list of features that are normally found in larger capacity cars.

phelix is talking about maintainence and after sales service of the car

mine is hell of a fun ride when i test drive it,and it's still fun to ride now, but till now there are still  kruk krik krit sound when i drive. Therefore i also wish to share this to other potential buyer, so that others wont spend rm200k++ for a car, only to find out that the krit kruk krik sound in their car when they drive it back home

we all here hope you can help us in after sales service and knowledge on mazda car,but end up you are just advertisement and hard selling

besides, when you test drive a car, you won't know the maintaince problem and small problem that you might face when you own it. this is where comments are useful
*
Basically there are 2 3S centres here in Klang Valley and we are opening more dealers centres.
We have sold quite a number of 3s and there's not really any major fault except for a few including yours.
My suggestion to you is hurry down to the Service centre and get your krit kruk krik sound check and verify.
I believe that the sound should be coming from the timing chain area.

To be honest, Mazda Cars and Jap Models are some of the most reliable in the market and Mazda is the one with the least incidents.

Info can be found here:
Reliability Report

And guys,if you really encounter any issue on your Mazda.. Pls feel free to call me as i will assist you in anyway i can and refer you
to the right person.

Well, selling is my job and after sales service for us is a must for us. I apologize if i have misled u guys.
I will suppy as much knowledge as i could. If you need to know any technical stuff, pls pm me and i will supply u with everything i know.
Thank you for choosing Mazda!

kruk krik krit... the true funny sound..
yours is RX8 wo... why don't u send to SC?

delvin,
mazda is the car that will make people go and test drive by their own will,
why don't u help gahpadu out? he's the guy who test drove and in love with mazda.
in the middle of the night his car was bang by a stupid sleepy driver and end up with no car for more than 6 weeks...
this is not what he want... he just want to enjoy his ride.. but what bermaz can do?
why don't they understand the importance of buffer spare part? don't need too much but at least it will cut down the most stupid procedure which is "ORDER FROM JAPAN BECAUSE IS CBU".
*
We have most of the neccesary spare parts here. For instance, those that tend to wear down often and accident prone areas.
I'm quite surprise to know that Gahpadu needs more than 6 weeks to get his car out from the workshop but on the other hand i believe most of you wants your car restore back to it's original state with the parts from Japan and not some local make or recond parts. Since most of you know that the Mazda 3 Sport is a very new model here and we are bringing in parts from Japan
every month to stock up. We r not CKD where the parts is make here. We do provide a courtesy car if Gahpadu request it either from the SE or SC.
So guys, please bear with us...i believe in near future things won't look like now.

sigh, i already went to the 3S center for like 4 times liao :S

btw, for me its not because of the timing chain, its because of the fitting problem on the left door panel

i will continue to go to the 3S center until the problem fully solved

i know mazda car got lesser problem, but i am quite dissapointed with mine la, somemore mine is the top model of mazda after the 9

anyway, just some rantz here. keep up on ur job, cheers
*
Sam,

if you want, i can follow up the case for you.
just pm me your contact no and car registeration no.
i will try my best to solve your case and if possible you can bring your car down to our showroom.

delvin, i also wait for my parts for around 3 weeks tongue.gif

i will PM you the details later, btw i am based at penang, so not sure if you are able to help much

and delvin again,

i seriously doubt mazda salesman really know all about rx8

1st: the salesman tell me inside the rx8 engine got piston biggrin.gif
2nd: the salesman/mechanic at penang tell me that i don't need to top up the oil, just go service every 10,000km can liao when i just bought my car biggrin.gif
they ONLY know that for all rx8 you need to top up the oil after i went there 1month after i get my car biggrin.gif:D
*
Haha rclxm9.gif ..the SE must be some goons or someone new to Mazda.
I believe your salesman must be from a Dealer. Coz we will get shoot if we Bermaz
dunno the products we r selling.
Really sorry for your bad experience~~
it's true for RX8 service intervention at 100k and basically we just top up your engine oil with mineral base oil.
did you SE ask you to use synthetic oil??if so, pls kill him...
and for your info, RX8 engine NEED to be warm up before revving!!
if you need more info, pls don't hesistate to call me as i got my colleague who is my buddy an expert in RX.

Really sorry to heard about gahpadu case but after hearing his case, I starting worry if in future I would facing the same problem. I'm a future m3 owner as I'm still waiting my car to be deliver. And be frankly I have lost my passion and excitement toward the car thought I know it is a great car but facing with the reality which is I need a car desperately for my daily usage. As some of you may know about my case. And agree with some of you, my sa don't really give a real good adivse and the info or clear view what is going on.

Every time when I asked about my car status, I will get another day answer from my sa, Until I dropped to autoworld forum, I finally got my clear view toward my car delivery status from a good guy over there. But there is nothing I can do but to wait.

The timing to wait for my car?Booked it on June 14 and still waiting. As what I know there will  be not many shipment on the 1.6 model but all are 2.0 model in the coming shipment. *mine is 1.6 model* hence got to wait longer time. Which is totally the other way round when I booked the car initially. As I got told 1.6 deliver will be faster as the demand is lesser than 2.0 cause I told the sa I need a car fast. But ended up need to wait for such long time. And up to today I still have no idea when is my car will be arriving. And my brother already frustrated cause now we both were sharing the car and arrangement where I had sold my previous car. Something to share with you guys.

Anyway I still love the car and its a great car. But as I said when facing the daily reality it really makes me and my brother so in-convenient.
*
Sad to hear that!! sad.gif but no worries, shipment is arriving this month! It's true that Bermaz is bringing in more 2.0 than the 1.6, the ratio is almost 8 to 1. The dmand is more on the 2.0 due to it's features, performance and pricing.

vinkws, where u book your car from?? i believe you will get your car this shipment. i can also check whether did u get an allocation for this shipment?

Well guys, seems that quite a number of you are experiencing sound coming from the undercarriage or during braking. if you dun mind, can u provide me exact info on which part of the undercarriage is the sound coming from.

Alternatively you can give our Head of Technical a call and revert your issue to him and he is more than willing to help.

Those who need his number can pm me. I will only reveal in private...not here, otherwise he gonna kill me.
This guy is our Mazda top Technical Head. His job basically is to solve the issue of Mazda Range and well, he's really the guy who can handle all problems.

We really want you guys to enjoy your car and to solve all issues you face.

Thanks alot. I completely agreed with you.
Haven't m6 2.0 realy got on-wheel volume control? Were the designers crazy?
Anyway, what are you expecting to change on NAP? Are the taxes going to decrease? Actualy I'm foreign; so, I dont know anything about malaysian rules. But I already heard about the tax changes. Whould you please give me more informaton?
*
The Mazda 6 2.0L is a base entry specs.
Nothing much to boast about compare to the 2.5L...
That's why we are bringing in very few units every month
and there's a waiting list for it coz the M6 2.0L is usually the housewife
car.

N to regard on the NAP issue, we basically don't think the GOV will bring down the
duties and tax. Because the GOV need to make sure the 2Ps can survive it our local scene.
Well, just pray that the GOV will at least bring down the TAX by 30 to 40%.
This is the only way our roads won't get infested by the 2Ps and accidents won't involve that many lives.

This is realy a good thread. Thank you all.
I'm so confused now. I can't make a desicion between m3, m6, accord, and camry with budget under 150k. I know m3 is in different class, but that dosen't matter. any suggestion?
Devlin, how long dose it take to deliver m3 1.6 and 2.0 if I do the booking now? and dose m6 2.0 require booking too or you have any available units?
I can't find detail comparison between m3 1.6 and 2.0 on mazda's website. any help?
*
Hi bro,

I know it's quite confusing choosing a car where there's so many brands and models within your budget.
1st ask yourself, u prefer a CKD or CBU model?
Is it a family car or for personal usage?
what do you look for in a car?which is the main priority?? 1)comfort 2)safety 3)style and design 4)maintenance and spare parts pricing 5)performance and handling 6)resell value 7)uniqueness (not many on our roads)
if you can list out your priorities, it will be much easier to get de car of your choice. And i believe many LYN members
will give you options on the model.

For Mazda Range of Vehicles, you really need to make a booking fast. Why? Because we don't keep our cars under the Sun for weeks or even months to wait for the order. We deliver our cars to our buyers straight once it arrive it Port Klang. From the assembly plant in Hiroshima, Japan to our buyers hand usually takes about 2 - 3 month. With this policy, we always assure our customer the car they are getting are freshly bake from the oven...fresh and pipping hot~~~And we always bring in extra units, so if you r lucky...u can get your car straight without waiting.

Good news for all is Bermaz will sell our Demo Units and Showroom Units at a special price every now and then.
