Well in some ways i agree with u here. CKD did bought the the price of a CBU car but for japanese mades it will reduce approx 10-15k at most. Those german marques like Merc n BMW can see the reduction of 10-20k or even more depending of which model. The new honda city will cost like the CBU jazz if the city is bought from Thailand.NO.... I would love to see Berjaya putting mazda CKD ops in Mysia to compete with the usual vios and city. Their chinese brand, chana seems like a flop over here and i dont anticipate well on BYD. The only chinese car maker which is doing well is Chery with the Eastern start MPV. Seat once before and i'm impressed, even better than the crappy innova/avanza.
