alpha_company: there are many interpretations of how a HDR processed photo should look like. all of them are correct in their own context. so really, there are no real wrong or right in HDR processing. It is just how the creator wants to present their photo. Your interpretation may not had been understood by others, hence some of the negative feedback you might be getting. It seems like your purposely soften shot of the ship is not really working out. Might try a sharper approach next time?

Anyway, here is a HDR rendering I did a long time ago. I preferred the less extreme HDR treatment approach.

Guys, just want to ask and get estimation price on used Minolta 50mm f/2.8 macro. I'm keen in doing macro shot, does this lense shot good macro. Thanks in advance.

yup... sharp lens with very low field of view curvature.

hmm... im not too sure... but the best macro lens being used by the guys here so far, i think, is the Tamron SP90mm f2.8 Macro... interested? try and look in alphanatics... there's someone selling it for RM1299...

ya lor.. the only macro lens that i ever tested is the SP90 as well.. quite good.. i really wanted to try SAL-100M28 but still cannot find in any TT so far

The shop where I bought my Alpha offered me a good copy (Minolta 50mm f/2.8 1:1 Macro - tested already) for RM500, is it worth it. Can I use it with close up filter for 2:1 Macro without much CA.
