Michael Bay, please step down from Transformers 3 and let someone like Steven Spielberg handle the directing reins.

Hi.

Just watched Transformers: Revenge of the fallen (T:Rotf)
Quite cool.

Being a fan since mid 80's...the original is still in my heart.
Devastator in T:Rotf is so ugly laugh.gif

Oh yeah...sick of Megan Fox already.
In the 1st movie... drool.gif on her, now... yawn.gif

Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman are not returning for TF3, not sure what to say. Just hope Kruger can give us a good story rclxms.gif

Great news indeed. I think they kena 'push' really hard by M Bay to make T2 story super awesome, and ended being a braindead story... love T1 though

Bay should make Metal Gear Solid movie instead since it also involved on military power and big robot.Heck he will eventually cooperate with Harry Gregson William for the music score like what they did for The Rock and Armageddon.

Let the Transformers movie franchise being handled by someone who more capable of bringing the movie to the above level like Steven Spielberg or Goerge Lucas.Sam Raimi also can.

MGS is at times very anti US army/US government.
i doubt Bay would be interested in it.

I rewatched the Matrix Revolution and love how Wachowski brothers did. The robot and all. How about Wachowski brothers for T3? tongue.gif

Looks like we won't get the blu-ray with shifting aspect ratios (like The Dark Knight). It's confirmed 2.35:1 from start to finish.

The version that has shifting aspect ratio can only be purchased from Walmart which doesn't ship internationally. Must find alternative shipping method to get it.

Why we don't want the IMAX scenes to be 2.35:1? Because the IMAX is 1.44:1, cropping to 1.78:1 is the best solution to avoid pillarboxing (blowing up the image a bit is fine with IMAX because the 70mm resolution is so big, it won't lose details). If cropped to 2.35:1, imagine how much video is lost in each frame.
