Watched the film today in KLCC. Can't say I had the same nerdgasm after getting out of the theatre as with the first movie.

Movie is too long, with fight sequences stretched in between. Could've been better.

I was really irritated when Devastator got smoked by a single hit from a frigging railgun. Where the hell did the railgun came from? Like, we were not told that there was a railgun earlier in the movie, and then just like that Simmons summoned the railgun and killed Devastator. it's like a frigging plot device(well it is).

Laughed real hard when in the museum, Leo made a diversion and stunned himself. Also, when Simmons is directly under Devastator, and reported,"I'm at the scrotum".

Overall the movie is passable.

I wonder, if this movie is made in Malaysia using local vehicles, how would it turn out? I can only imagine several things...

Rempitbots - swarms of suicidal bikebots that are loud and useless.Something like Arcees, but more forgettable. Alt modes - motor kapchai.
Trasher - Token Autobot. Very pessimistic. Prone to puking on others. Alt mode - Lori Sampah (trash truck).
Distort - alt mode Nuri helicopter. Older than Jetfire, less reliable and more prone to crashing, especially in alt mode.
Proton Prime - Sub-sub-sub leader of the local Autobots. Low self esteem due to high expectations from his peers while being physically and mentally crappy. Alt mode Proton Perdana.
Heavy Toll - Greedy Decepticon. Blackmails everyone just for the heck of it. Alt mode - toll booth.
Heavyside - Opportunistic Decepticon. Takes advantages of others' misfortune, be them friend or foe. Alt mode - tow truck.

When last movie was out, I have a more serious suggestion

Optimus Prime - transformed into a Hicom Perkasa MTB 150 DXL Super Commando (our largest national truck)
Ironhide - transformed into a Proton Arena (our local pickup)
Ratchet - transformed into a Proton Juara (Bulan Sabit Merah Style)
Jazz - transformed into Lotus Elise (Proton Putra is another choice but not so good looking for Jazz)
Bumblebee - transformed into an old Proton Satria initially before evolving into Proton Satria Neo GTi Concept

now with new characters added:

Sideswipe - could transform into a Lotus Europa-S (or same car with the Proton Ultimate Concept as name?)
Arcee - 3 modenas or naza motors
Twins - Myvi SE and Zerokit Savvy (or a smaller choice is Kelisa and Kancil)
Jolt - I dono, Gen2 perhaps??
Jetfire - we have a national plane, remember? The Eagle Aircraft 150B

The whole part during the fight scene in Egypt is more like a show case of America's modern warfare technology. And yes, rail gun does exist.

Come to think of it, I haven't feel much more insulted since the the movie 10,000 B.C.

Which brings to another point. In part 1, whole base get tarpau'ed by just 1 Decepticon but this time multiple decepticons kena bomb spam by a B-1B and some F16's.

he was the big bad in the first movie,mar..so must be damn strong.
in the second movie the fallen was the big bad,so he has to be strongest.

was quite disappointed.
the girl in the sam's dorm is totally unacceptable. being able to transform into a human is CHEATING! and The Fallen was great when he was able to "zoom zoom zoom" attacking ppl and climb up the pyramid, but wasn't able to defeat optimus?
And the worse still, were the Primes GOD ?? they can grant sam a life and able to fix the matrix even though they were dead!

Well... I liked it better than I thought I would.

And I definitely think it's better than the first... though, not by design. 

yeap... at least even in prime battle against 3, i can clearly see each robots differently

unlike in TF1 where Prime kill his 1st decept, i can hardly differentiate between the 2

about the matrix part (funny how small it is now compared to the original matrix.. but that is in another universe ), they did not repaired it. I believe Sam earned the matrix. about the ress, im not sure.. maybe the matrix give him his life back? 

according to the comic prequel, the humans and autobots had upgraded their weapon with each other's technology (what the heck can autobots gained from our tech? ). well, i accept the fact despite the autobot gaining from human parts. I believe IronHide upgraded Prime blaster to a point where he can damage megatron with it (i wonder why he didnt do it before. hmmm.. maybe after saw how ineffective prime blaster when he fight megatrons in TF1)

iI however very dissatisfied with GSC. Being a THX certified hall (1U hall 2 and 3), hall 3 had some loose roof that vibrate together with the bass and create annoying sound while hall 2 had some projector issue where bottom 20% is darker than the rest.

I watched the movie in Pavillion THX Hall, the dialogues were not loud enough. Is that how THX sound like?
