QUOTE(Deimos Tel`Arin @ Sep 3 2009, 11:22 AM) Well back in the day, Steam wasn't really considered a DRM... It was quite literally Valve's online store and the online requirement was a major hurdle for many. Only after Half-life 2 came out did Valve actively try to include games from other publishers into its catalogue. |

A quote from Karune:
QUOTE There is confirmation on Battle.net 2.0 being free out of the box: Source from BattlenetQUOTE As mentioned before, players will be able to use Battle.net for free when they purchase the full version of StarCraft II. There have been no changes to this. Karune further elaborates on no-cost Battle.net: QUOTE lol- here is one simple scenario: When you buy StarCraft II from the store, you will be able to play on Battle.net for free. This is not a temporary trial of Battle.net.Not purchasing the full version would include any illegal method of attaining software. In that case, you would not be able to get on Battle.net. Can we stop talking about that now? |

I just had a freaky dream 2 nights back...
I dreamt how Jim Raynor met Kerrigan again... And how Kerrigan used the last of her humanity to psychicly transmit her feelings towards Jim. She even gave him a hug.... I think I am going crazy...hahahaha |

Anybody here completed the SC1 campaign? After I started playing with humans, the SC1 campaign became so easy i didn't even need to quick save throughout the brood war campaign. I guess that new players might just learn more by just going for directly for the sc2 multiplayer component. :hmm:The sc campaign was pretty satisfying though.

I just realized the 'LAN thingie' of SC2 will be similar to L4D's LAN game. (have to login to Steam first before you create a LAN game with your friend sitting side by side).
It's horrible I tell you! xD On some other news, I just watched the battle report of SC2, on my new 22" LCD monitor (nothing to brag about) and it's fun to watch it on 1680*1050 widescreen (and imagine the game running at that resolution) This post has been edited by zioburosky13: Sep 4 2009, 01:21 AM |

QUOTE(fujkenasai @ Sep 4 2009, 02:37 PM) Stop u from playing what??SC1? There's no such thing in SC1. And SC2 isn't even out yet! Blizzard aren't dumb. If u look at their track record, each and every game that came out with their Blizzard logo was either a top notch game, or was "GAME OF THE YEAR". If this idea makes the game lag in LAN games, do you think they will implement it? |
