too much money to spare.... wat to do... tongue.gif

regarding the oil level in the oil sump, i still prefer they put in the recommended level according to dipstick. not just pour the whole 4 liter into the engine. ur engine will be harder to move. the dipstick is there for a purpose. i wonder why these mechanics are getting lazier and who set the syllabus for the training really ough to get a big whack in the bum!

eh dun like tat la... so humble.. kcng...hehehehe...

talking abt engine oil again, the 5-30w i think its the most suitable for cps engine. anyone else tried lower ie x-20 or monograde oils?

QUOTE(VerM @ Oct 3 2009, 03:31 AM)
According to law of physics, the speed of the window wind up between automatic and with your finger constantly pressing the button should be the same. This is because it is bound by the same physical restriction that is the speed of the motor.  smile.gif

Inaccurately to illustrate this (as shown on TV), we can use the physic equation below:

Time t taken for a window to wind-up at distance d (height of the window):

[attachmentid=1228103]

where g is the constant speed of which the windows motor is operating.

SC is advising all cars owners having similar problems to do the following

1. get a smart tag since every toll system support it
2. use valet parking to park you car
3. switch to manual wind (turn type) if option 1 & 2 is not possible

Is this the right way to install open pod + heat shield.. Zen, Kcng? I don't want to relocate battery and canister.
*
sphiroth got a point there. the heatshield is not totally shielding the air intake from heat. with the air intake right in the engine bay, there is no difference between putting the heat shield whether its there or not. the heatshield in this picture only blocks the air filter from becoming hot but the air intake is still taking in hot air inside the engine.

its always better to put the air intake right at the front or install air scoop right on top of the engine cover. then u will get pure cool engine from outside.

there is a website which a owner even when to the extend of cutting the firewall on the top part to gain access to the wiper motor area. that part is usually hollow but it gathers a lot of front cool air when the car is moving. so hiding the air filter is also a good choice... biggrin.gif

sphiroth, i'm going to Oz in the next 2 weeks. maybe early nov can tt la... hehe...

btw, is pro ride = r3 actually? saw on mudah the springs are rm280 / rm 260 for waja... dunno good or not...

pearjar : i thought the battery location is same in every s.neo? the pic location is most ideal already since its right at the sides and further away compared to the original first pic.

rydeck: new waja like mine comes with MF batteries (maintenance free). mine dunno wat brand but its got the thundercat logo la... hehe...

the same thing for the springs? hmm.... can consider... lust.gif

I remember reading it in WACforum (wira se forum) under drexchan's topic. he showed us the pics of the engine parts. it could have been lotus engineering but not too sure la...

by the way, the topic was porsche's variocam vs CPS..

MT is exactly 3.5 liters.

AT depending on the gearbox volume. wira last time i did 16 liters to complete flush. really smooth after that. use the flushing machine. can see old fluid out and new fluid going in. u need a person in the car to shift different gears to get all the old oil out.

According to a 'friend', the only thing they can do with the PDT is increasing idle rpm, remove the rev limiter and changing the shifting point of an AT car. whistling.gif

actually, i find it a little better to have the higher 4.4krpm for the cps to kick in when we are cruising on the highway. i'm dirving waja and when the cps kicks in at 3.8krpm, its when we are mostly travelling around 130kmh... kinda annoy me with the tick tock tick tock thing.. plus the higher FC as well. wat do u guys think?
