I guess every United fan will be catching shit today... i was not spared either. Feeling abit down but, i'm taking in the fact that we played 66 games this season and below is what we've achieved.

1) World Club Championship
2) League Cup
3) BPL Champions for 18th time
4) 2nd in the UEFA CL

I'd say we had a good season... more to come next year. Let's see what Barca can do with a few extra games next season.

Till then,
Glory Glory Manchester United.

i know there is 3 trophy in the cabinet, but SAF dream of winning more UCL trophy was gone for this season, next season we gonna climb into that final again to achieve his dream sweat.gif

Our unbeaten streak finally come to an end after almost 2 years running at CL. Well, it's proud record I have to say smile.gif
I believe the lost will only make us stronger and more determine to win it back next year. I have no doubt on our qualities, Barca may seems superior in the final and it's because we got shacken by their early goal.

Same case like Arsenal during the semi... we got a surprise early goal from Jason and they trembled. Even before they can recovered Ronaldo punished them with freekick goal.
Arsenal came back stronger a week later when they visited Old Trafford. They even played better than Man Utd that day doh.gif
Well today we finally able to experince the heartache like Arsenal experinced from us during the semi hahahaha.

Need to borrow Liverpool favorite words with a slight midofied... Next year is our YEAR

We lost to the better team yesterday. I have no complains on the defeat. I think gone is gone and considering we have got ourselves very good achievement this season.

We just have to move on. Barca's passes were absolutely superb and they too were patient in attacking. Could see how they really control the midfield.

India's Sahara close to Man Utd shirt deal - report

QUOTE
India's Sahara Group is in advanced talks with Manchester United to become the new shirt sponsors of the English Premiership champions, domestic media reported on Thursday.

"The chairman (Subrata Roy) is going to London on June 5 to finalise the deal," an unnamed official of the multi-business conglomerate told the Mumbai-based DNA daily.

"We think that if we can sponsor such a huge club it will give an opportunity for Indian footballers to play as well," the official added.

However, a company spokesman said Sahara had not made much headway on the proposal received from the club in January.

"There is no progress on the issue," spokesman Abhijit Sarkar said when contacted.

The paper said some issues regarding revenue sharing and whether Sahara would have the reach needed to cater to the world club champions' global fanbase were yet to be discussed.

United is seeking a new sponsor after troubled American insurance giant AIG announced in January it would not renew its four-year $100 million deal which runs until 2010. The Sahara Group, also sponsors of the Indian cricket team, are hopeful the deal would go through as Manchester United can expand its fanbase in the region. "Apart from the Asian market, they can expand their fan base in India which is a huge market for them," the official told DNA.

The Sahara is an unlisted group with interests from financial services to real estate.

Manchester United had also sent a shirt sponsorship proposal in March to Indian conglomerate Tata group.

"There are various sponsorship options, one for the team shirt. This has been going on for some time but nothing has been finalised," a brand consultant of the group told Reuters in March.

The Tata Group has interests spanning steel, cars, information technology, communication, power, tea and hotels. Tata Consultancy Services, the software arm of the group, is one of the sponsors of the Ferrari Formula One team.

Anyone can do a photoshop on our shirt with a Sahara logo at our new "power range" style jersey?

the defeat is not as bitter as losing to Pool
in fact, it's a good wake up call and a tight slap to the players especially Ronaldo

Actually when i saw Barca can score the goal in last minute injure time when they crash Chelsea in semi-final, the CL trophy is already for them. And we just play all the game seem like too easy b4 the final. Just my thought.

Actually, last night match expose the weakness that MU team is suffering since last season. We are unable to match most of the supposedly big 4 this season. Look at the statistic and we will all notice.

When Berba arrived, I thought he is going be the goal scoring machine similar to Ruud V.Nisterooy. But then he somehow play the role similar to Rooney.

Last season success is mostly due to Cristiano Ronaldo with his 40 over goals.

Hopefully next season, SAF will bring in the correct reinforcement so that we will be able to lift UCL next season.

Certainly for me, I think we need a playmaker in midfield since Scholes is close to hanging up his boots.

We obviously employed the wrong strategy. Absolutely no command over the midfield, allowed Iniesta, Messi and co to roam and our midfield were nowhere to be seen.

Pique was awesome. Good to see one who used to wear our badge on his chest doing so well abroad. Too bad he chose to show up against us. Damn.

Had the decency to go straight to our players and shake hands before celebrating in full force.

I had this muppet of a retard in my campus who's an Arsenal fans and writes nothing but insulting remarks about United. That cheap *******, I felt like flooring him today.

violence begets violence tongue.gif

whichever the case, i think the achievement this year speaks for itself, its pointless to deny the fact of a teams achievement.

if the muppet is as it is, let it be...

at the rate Barca is showing, we just hope that the spanish league has just one real contender for English dominance in football... imagine 3 CL finalist all La Liga... sigh.. GOD FORBID rclxub.gif

Easy bro.. what to do?! it seems like there are only two sides of fans here.. one United and the other are plain stupid ABUs.. as far as I am concerned, only Barca fans are eligible to say that we are defeated by them cos they were better.. the rest are just people who thinks using their a$$hole fillings... except for Barca fans and other team fans who doesnt care of last nite's result, the rest are retards... they have became so cos along the way their team was dumped out off the UCL...

saw The Star article today, Evra said that he wants to floor Fabregas the next time he sees him outside a football match... ohmy.gif
