Aw just like a joy bidder in benzema case i think, purely my thought
he knows Man Utd got a lot of money from transfer chest and CR money, hence he made interest to Benzema which Man UTd highly likely to get but for more than he is valued. Man UTd have to forked more money to buy benzema hence less money to strengthen their already strong squad

Get? the fact that AW would pay £30 still bug some of us!
What happen to Arsene Wenger, do he get a life changing experience during his time in Malaysia?
*
IF AW is really forking out 30+M for Benzema, it must because of his trip to Malaysia brows.gif

If AW really opened up his eyes during the trip, Diaby and Ade would be sold and we would be buying David Villa icon_idea.gif

After that, AW would open an Arsenal Academy on the field he met us - Dataran Merdeka rclxm9.gif

ok ~ I shall stop dreaming laugh.gif

Too many crazy rumours... Ribery, Benzema, who next? dry.gif

Let's just read something more relevant to our team:
http://www.newsoftheworld.co.uk/sport/3806...-the-world.html

Reminiscent of the old Thierry Henry eh? Football freak and nothing else. Now if only he could give us 30 goals every season...

Oh yeah, Bouchra is WIN. +1.

Arsenal Closing In On Stuttgart's Tasci - Report
The Gunners are in the market for another defender, but they will have to move fast...

Arsenal look set for more defensive reinforcements, with the Gunners now thought to be closing in on Serdar Tasci.

According to Sport.co.uk, the London side are at the front of the queue to sign the VfB Stuttgart stopper, who has seen negotiations for a contract extension with his current club break down and is eager to further his career elsewhere.

However, Arsenal face stiff competition for the 22-year-old's signature, with AC Milan and Juventus also following Tasci closely.

Equally adept in the middle or on the right, Tasci would provide useful variety in defence. Arsenal have already signed Thomas Vermaelen to strengthen their back line.

it's goal.com,not so reliable i guess... at least it's more realistic than some rumours running on that site(Buffon to Arsenal is the most ridiculous one.)

Hopefully Eduardo and Rosicky fully recover for the next season too. (and hope they will be the same player before they get injured.)

Imagine Fabregas,Nasri,Rosicky and Arshavin playing together in the midfield. drool.gif

Added on June 29, 2009, 2:18 pmFormer Arsenal midfielder Gilberto Silva says he has urged his Brazil team-mate Felipe Melo to join the Gunners this summer.
The Gunners are reported to have made a substantial offer for Fiorentina's 25-year-old holding midfielder.
"We heard rumours and he asked me. I said it's a fantastic club and if he's interested he should go without thinking," Silva told BBC Sport.
"He is exactly what they need - a powerful player with quality."
Gilberto, who left the Gunners for Panathinaikos in Greece last summer, added: "If they got him it would be great because he is a player they need at the moment.
"I'm sure if they got him it would be a good signing. I have told him Arsenal is a great club and I am sure next season they will improve."
The 32-year-old Silva, who spent six seasons with the Gunners, played alongside Melo in Brazil's Confederations Cup final win over the US and said he had been impressed with his side-kick throughout the tournament.
"He is a very good player," said Silva after his side's 3-2 win at Ellis Park on Sunday.

"Felipe has shown in the national team that he has personality and quality.
"I am sure he has a lot more to grow as well. He is a young player, strong, powerful and has a good quality in his pass.
"My partnership with him works well and I hope we can carry on doing well for Brazil."
The Gunners are reported to face competition from La Liga and Champions League champions Barcelona for Melo's signature.
Melo - has played only one season for Fiorentina - after joining the Italian side from Spain's Almeria last summer.
He has a reputation as a fiery midfielder and in his first season in Serie A collected 17 yellow cards and three reds.

Yeah... hopefully Gil's advice would sway Melo's head hehe... I'd take Gil back in a heartbeat as well, he'd be a great role model to the kids.

Lots of crazy rumours flying here and there... Tasci... never heard of him before, and there are mixed reviews about him on other forums. I am quite apprehensive about any more central defenders after the addition of Vermy, especially those who are ready for a first team position. Unless Ade gets sold with a 20-25M price tag we won't have much to spend, at most another 15-20M on one or two players.

As for rumours.... anyone fancy starting a new one to spread around? tongue.gif Benzema, Ribery... why not Gourchuff... French, young, creative playmaker... oh yeah... "Arsenal bidding 40M for Gourchuff"... see tomorrow's headlines lololol...

There might be more kids to come, but first teamers... I'd be very surprised if we sign another 2 more. I'd say 1 first teamer with 1, 2 kids and off we go to Barnet and then Austria...

what's wrong with biscoff? he was injured when we sign him and he did very well with the reserves. A few appearances with the 1st team was ok but too little to judge.

silvestre.. well... i think AW had enough of him. that's why he is looking to add Tasci.

If we do have a bid tabled for Melo, and if it's up to the player, i think he'll come. The thing is, fiorentina will surely wants a lot of $$ for him... especially after last nite come back win against US.

Brazil - US... haih... damn it.. looks like ARsenal la US. Conceding set pieces... poor defending on the flanks... haih... eehhehehe

For his efforts in the season 2008/2009, he was awarded the Ligue 1 Player of the Year award. Gourcuff was also named in the Ligue 1 Team of the Year.[16]On 28 May, it was announced that Bordeaux had signed Gourcuff permanantly from Milan[17] with Gourcuff agreeing to a four year deal.[18]The transfer fee was approximately €15 million.[19]
