QUOTE(Irzani @ May 25 2009, 07:48 AM) I'm still thinking what to say to the technician today since the speed is back to normal .. last night when it happen, I complaint throught the e-mail and to SKMM with the evidence of ping and speedtest .. the thing about getting a technician to your house is not about he fixing anything.coz real problem lies inside tmnut, poorly managed congestion & the routing. technician aren't gonna do u any good. wat u shud ask for is information. example, bout the dslam @ your place, wats the max speed supported, is the exchange upgraded to fiber optic or still cooper, any future plans on your area, r dey gonna launch HSBB there.............etc...........etc............. & also, if u wanna mek some changes, example, change dslam, dis is your time to ask. I heard from my friend who has a friend works in screamyx and he said screamyx is been attacked with confiker virus, therefore they are forced to re-router to other place which is much slower like US or so...

Oh! Still blame the fault on confliker virus!
Just wondering, since they are so good on throttling P2P, why not throttling the confiker virus traffic as well? Why not setup a Firewall to block the virus, why not block the source thoroughly? So, their solution is to 're-route' to another path which create more problem (and gurantee no confiker virus attack?) .... Now I believe that Screamyx are managed by monkeys. i just got a call from them
apparently technician came, and check the port/exchange (i'm not good with the terms) and as usual everything is tip-top perfect so nothing they could do then they check their system and also apparently my connection is superb and shouldn't have any problem... keyword here is shouldn't... someone who exercises regularly and eats healthy food "shouldn't" get heart attack or cancer... and yet there are many people who still do.. because there are OTHER factors in place that TM so conveniently refuse to consider i asked them if there are any work being done at my area coz website didn't mention anything... not sure. must check ask them if they indeed kena virus... not sure. must check anyway she promised she'll "do" something, and ask me to check my connection again this evening. X fingers :S Added on May 25, 2009, 1:11 pmthe whole place there is a mess i just got another call from another girl who has no idea what was going on and still asking me whether technician came before that another girl called and told me she will do something else so i dont know what is happening now will check this evening when i'm back home This post has been edited by phoenixxx: May 25 2009, 01:11 PM |

The answer is there isn't anything wrong in the user site.
Its their exchange and ports are screw up , i assumed. |
