i've using streamyx for about 2 years now.
so far i've encounter problems.

all the problems settled within the short time until year of 2009 came.
in the year of 2009, i've been awarding the total of rm49.00 + rm190 of rebate because i've been fighting for it.

tmnet give me the rebate and this year of 2009 i paid for 3 months and get 3 months for free.. see the screenshot

it is actually requires some tricks.
first whenever get problem, please call 100 and don't forget to get your report number. please record that number.

second, call again to follow up if no one calls you tomorrow after your report been filed. start from this point you can start to ask for rebate.

third, write an email to help@tm.com.my or .net.my. Need to check my mail, i forgot. please state your report number.

wait 48 hours, if no one calls you then please dial MCMC hotline number.

forward all your mail to tmnet including what they reply to you to aduanskmm@cmc.gov.my

i'm sure within 24 hours, tmnet customer service will call you to ask about the problems.

they will ask whether they can close the trouble ticket or not. don't close until you get email stated that they already approve your rebate request.

if MCMC start to make noise to them, I am 99.9% (best effort) confident that you are on your way to pay 1/2 price for your streamyx.

please repeat to CELCOM, MAXIS, DIGI, P1, AMAX, Redtone and calling cards provider if you want your hard earn bloody money back.

after my first post in here, the speed reduce to 1.5Mbps, it ridiculous.

but my Time Broadband was very good when I stayed in Damansara Perdana.

finally solve my high ping/latency and slow connection problem ^^
The tm technician call me to cask me change the DSL modulation to G.DMT will get stable connection and lower latency compare with multimode/ADSL2/ADSL2+/ADSL2+M
if anyone having high ping and slow connection problem can try to change it for getting stable and lower latency ^^
