hi everyone, i have a quick and simple question here

If i queue for a stock at 8:30am, at price 0.50.
Then when market opens at 9:00am, the last price of the stock is RM0.35.
What will happen to my queue at 0.50? Will it be matched AUTOMATICALLY at the best selling price when market open? thanks!

I presume the TOP(Theratical opening Price) here is 35 sen,and your order is a buying order.

Your order will be matched(done)at 35 sen then.

Hi all,

New to stock trading here. Just opened a Direct trading account with maybank recently and would like to start trading soon.

Topped up my trading account and selected TRUST from M2U, but noticed later from my trading account summary that my Trust Balance is in negative. Would like to know whether is this normal? And what does a +/- represents in this case?

Thanks in advance =)

I hold some shares in GCORP

this is their announcement:

Pursuant to the Master Sale and Purchase Agreement dated 19 May 2010 between the Company and Consistent Record Sdn Bhd ("CRSB") in relation to the disposal of the entire business and undertaking of our Company (including all of our assets and liabilities) to CRSB for a total consideration of RM505,043,864.20, CRSB has proposed the voluntary winding-up of the Company ("Proposed Winding-Up"). The Board will accordingly seek the approval of the shareholders of the Company at an extraordinary general meeting to be convened for the Proposed Winding-Up.

The Proposed Winding-Up will facilitate the distribution to the Company's shareholders [other than CRSB, the Relevant Family Members and PAC (both as defined in the Circular to shareholders dated 5 August 2010)] the sum of RM1.70 cash per GCB Share.

My question is : do they distribute the cash directly to my bank account like e-dividend or cheque? can anyone explain.

thanks

If i enter a sell price to queue up in the pre open/close session, 0.4, when the market opens, the opening price is 0.45. Will i sell at 0.45 or 0.4? biggrin.gif
